What is Power Yoga?
Power yoga is the westernized version of Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga, an East Indian Yogic practice Ashtanga (power) yoga focuses on moving quickly through poses, creating a sort of choreography. There is no rest between poses, as one flows directly into the next, and the postures are quite challenging, requiring a heavy dose of strength and balance.
