Cabbage is a nutritional superstar, and most people don't realize this....

If you have been to a Whole Foods recently, you will see numbers next to each food in the salad bar.

The system ranks food on a scale from 1 to 1000, and measures the "nutrient density" of foods. Many forms of cabbage are in the 700-900 range. In contrast, an apple, which most people think of as "very healthy" only has a score of 75.

This doesn't mean don't eat apples, but it does mean, that cabbage is a very cheap and easy way to improve the nutrient content of your diet.
