1 a day Weight Smart

Has anyone tried these? I don't want a "diet pill" that makes me all gittery and upset to my stomach. I thought these might be different since they are 1-a-days. Any advice?

I use them.
I cant say that they help me to lose weight, but they do act as a green tea pill and you need a multi anyway.

How sensitive are you to caffeine? At first they did make me use the rr, but now I am use to them I guess.

Dont expect a miracle but can't hurt

I've tried them, and they gave me a sick to my stomach feeling (Vitamin Stomach). Definitely take them on a full stomach at your heaviest meal. They're just vitamins with some energy boost added (green tea maybe, I can't remember at the moment)

I'm taking the Trader Joes (Trader Darwin's) Multivitamin now and feel much better.

Every BODY is different though. Best of luck to you :)

I took these for several months and the added "green tea extract" ingredient elevated my liver enzymes and caused inflammation of my liver. I don't think this happnes very often, but green tea extract in high concentration can be toxic to some people's livers. Just be careful. I personally don't think the extra "weight smart" ingredient is worth it. I would just take a regular multivitamin.

Just curious, as I'm now taking a green tea supplement and want to know what to look out for - how do you know if you have inflammation of the liver?

I'm the poster from 4:48. It was really an accident that I found out about it. I had a routine blood workup done, just to check on things, and she saw that my liver enzymes were up. She retested it, just to make sure it wasn't a fluke, and they were still up. She asked me if I drink a lot, and I said no. She asked if I take herbal supplements, and the only thing I could think of was that multivitamin with the green tea extract in it. I stopped taking it and had more blood taken a few weeks later, and it was better.

Many times, if you have liver problems you won't even know. But you might experience fatigue, jaundice, nausea, and loss of appetite.

Just make sure you eat something when you take them. Otherwise you end up pretty nauseous.

I have taken them for over a year and used to feel naseous when I took them in the morning whether it was before or after breakfast. I started to take them at night before bed and don't ever get that feeling.

heart issues

I took them for a few months and started having dizzy and fainting spells. Had to have a holter monitor hooked up to me for a day to find out if I had something wrong with my heart. Turns out it was just the green tea extract in the vitamins that was causing my heart to double beat at times and upset the rhythm. I've stopped taking them and have been fine ever since.

Sounds like you may have gotten hold to some 'bad' green tea formula. Be careful where you get your supplements. Green tea from a good provider is harmless. Did the doctor say the green tea caused the inflammation of the liver? I've been in natural health a long time, most experts say be careful where you get your supplements from. The multi-vit/min formula shold probably not have green tea and everything else in it. Some things work in snygery with other things and some things do not. You need a company with educated people who know how to handle botanicles(herbs and like substances), so you will get a quality product. One such company is Natures Sunshine in Provo Utah. Go to www.naturessunshine.com use my sponsor number 463-008-7 and buy over 500 of the best products and formulas in the world at wholesale price. Since you're buying anyway, why not buy the best at wholesale price. This company provides fact sheets and other educational materials helpful for ones wanting to be educated. Green Tea Extract

glad to hear someone else say they made you sick. I just started taking them this week, with my multi, and I was afriad that my multi made me throw up, but it must have been the green tea.

Everyone is talking about the bad things green tea extract has done, but has anyone recieved any noticable benefits from it?

This is OP -
I haven't noticed a thing and do get a slight upset stomach. I am going to switch to 1 a day Active or another multi.
