Why is PeerTrainer deleting threads?

Just curious as to why a discussion in this lounge that was active is now deleted? It was a discussion about group members that are not active even though the group profile requested active posters only.

The general rule is that if we think someone's feelings will get hurt or is too negative in tone we try and nip that in the bud. We often say there is one rule here- be positive.

The poster said right above it that the thread was still here. I think a few people are starting to "look" for things.

Can we please try to focus on positive things, even for the weekend? I came here for inspiration today because I'm going out to a huge bash tonight. It would be great to see it.

I completely understand why the PT community would like to put a stop to certain negative discussions, however why not simply "lock" the thread with an explanation of why it was locked?

Threads that disappear without a trace with no rationelle comes across as a bit "big brotherish".

I'm a member of several different communities and they all delete threads. There's never an explanation.
