Which is better, calorie-wise?

1 frozen margarita or 2 on the rocks? I plan on going out tonight and can drink one frozen in the same amount of time as 2 on the rocks. Trying to figure out my best bet calorie-wise. Thanks!

one frozen would be your choice (because the shlushy stuff is like the ice cubes, just that you drink them, too)

OP here, I have heard that the syrup in frozen was very high calorie which is what made me post the question.

Found this online - published by Shape magazine, I think...

Stats Frozen margarita (2 ounces tequila, 4.5 ounces Jose Cuervo margarita mix, salt): 27 carb grams, 246 calories.

Margarita on the rocks (1.5 ounces tequila, 1 ounce Triple Sec, 1 ounce fresh lime juice): 8 carb grams, 182 calories.

The problem with getting margaritas at all is that too many places serve them in glasses that look more like fishbowls. Sometimes the "small" is 16oz!
