OP: Frustrated about work

I am a teacher and work with a co-teacher. I have tried, tried, tried everything I can think of (without being syrupy fake) to get along with her for the last 4 months. It's just not working! I don't hate her (yet?) but I find her personality VERY grating. She's so....overbearing! I am trying to keep my interactions with her to a minimum but it is obvious that I'm doing that and it creates friction. I hate having to face this every day. I love my students but am not a fan of hers. Any advice?
We don't teach in the same classroom, btw, but next door to each other and have to interact at least four times a day or more.
?

I agree with out understanding what you are facing there isnt much you can do other than think of all of her good traits and try to truly change your attitude about her.
Unless she is being malicious- this is your problem. You are only hurting yourself with your inability to appreciate her for who she is.

"How to Work Well with people" has been a helpful book to me. I can truly relate to your prolbem and the book was suggested to me. It really helped me to understand other people personalities in the work place and gave suggestions on how to work with them.

Dear GOD Woman,
Put Jesus first.
You are the victim of abuse.
Feel very sorry for her that she does not know Jesus at all. If she did she would know what the spirit of the fruits are.
Aside from telling Jesus what is going on, I would also tell someone at your workplace. You might also want to contact teachers association in your area. Ask if there is a union where this issue can be expressed. Ask advice online to government organizations. I believe you can remain anonomys. In the meantime, try to avoid her at all costs. And try not to think of her either. Just pray once for her in Jesus's name. Ask the Lord to help her and be on your way. Good Luck!

Isn't the Christian thing to be to love your neighbor- not avoid her at all costs.
Let there be peace on eart and let it begin with me. Jesus needs us to act for him not to be nasty to others.

I think you need to pray for your co worker; sometimes what bothers us about an other person, is what is in us.

I know that it's not easy; nevertheless, you can do it.

Ask, What can I learn about myself in this situation, what can I learn about ____

Is she going out of her way to be rude/ nasty, or mean to me?

Ask the Lord, " Teach me to love the way You love, to be the way You are"

Remember, " I can do ALL THINGS THROUGH CHRIST WHO GIVES ME STRENGTH"

You can do this, God is on your side...... The battle is not yours, bot the Lord's

Be encouraged!!!!!!!

What the HELL is all this Jesus freak crap have to do with the relationship problem the OP has with the other teacher. God damn I'm so sick of people saying"just pray" pray for what? That the OP is the one who has the problem, she doesn't have to work side by side with her. If she takes her issues to someone over them she is just creating more of a problem. So your personalities clash, you only have to deal with her 4x a day, if she grates on you that is your issue. Find something about her you do like and respect and work with that.

It's way more fun to slap the other cheek than turn it.
