Help with caloric intake/weight loss sites
I've been losing weight for some time and was wondering, what exactly is considered "moderately active".
I hate how the caloric intake things estimate in weird numbers. For example the only choices are: Sedantary, Light Excersise (1-3 times per week), moderately active (3-5 times per week), strenuous activity (6-7 times a week), pro athlete (2 tmes a day).
What do I choose if I'm working out about 6 times a week, cardio all 6 days with stregnth training added in 3-4 times a week?
The reason I'm asking is because I'm on my last 10 lbs and I've been blipping around weight-wise and I really want to try to get my self down those last 10 lbs. =\

you still have to choose from the same vague choices however the results table shows you exactly what your daily calorie deficit would be!

5:54 - ooh, I like that calculator. And I find I lose as predicted when I stick to my calorie limits.
OP - I'm down to my last 10, too. I find I have to be very vigilent with my calories and shoot for my lower limit (which for me is 1200). I also have to make sure I'm not doing the same exercises I was a few months ago (same level, same weights, same exercises, etc.) I love routine, but it works against me with weight loss! Good luck - you're almost there!
