Diet Coke Anonymous
HELP! I am a self admitted DIet Cokeaholic! I know I will feel better and look better if I can stop drinking the poison and start drinking more water but I am deathly afraid of the migraine headaches that come along with quitting. Anybody have any proven methods of kicking this nasty habit?

here's what made me quit from reg coke:
my buddy does autopsies for the BCA in our state. One night we were out at the bar and I asked him if you can tell who's a water drinker or not. He said people who are consistent coffee drinkers literally have coffee grounds in their muscles (you know, somehow we end up drinking the grounds), pop drinkers have deteriorated muscles and have a horrible smell, the stomach wall is eaten and thin from the acid, and those that a water consumers smell better, their blood is consistent, their muscles are not shriveled, etc.
That was enough for me!

Proven for coffee withdrawls - if you don't want the 'cold turkey' headaches do it slow on a schedule and drink lots of water. So for example, eliminate 1 or 2 per week. Switch some of your caffienated drinks to diet seven up or diet root beer if you still want sodas for a while and aren't ready to go 'all water' or try bubbly flavored water.

regarding the above - I meant 1-2 per day, increasing the amount you stop drinking each week over a period of weeks.

Quit Friday night, curl up in the fetal position over the weekend and tough it out with with a big bottle of Ibuprofen.
