30 calorie foods

I'm counting calories and I have 30 left for my daily intake, and I need ideas for 30 calorie foods!
My thanks to all who help, I just can't think of anything.

those sugar free, fat free jellos are 10 calories, and add just a dallop of light whipped cream, and it comes out to 30 calories.

i'm also scouring my fitday.com account for what's about "30 calories".
- 0.2 oz almonds
- 0.2 oz ff plain yogurt
- 0.2 oz ff motzerella
- 1 cubic inch of a ff cheese danish (like..a bite)
- 1 slice of ff american cheese (.75 oz)
- 1/2 serving of the 60 cal progresso soups.

can you burn calories and then eat more? like, if you were to go and burn 100 calories right this minute, would you be able to eat 130? if so, 1 mile = 100 calories, so walk or jog it (jogging takes about 10 minutes, but if you walk uphill, you can walk 100 calories off in 10 minutes).

sorry i couldn't help more! i'll see if i can find anything else XD

A bit more than 30, but an apple is not too bad and quite filling.

It may sound strange but baby dill pickles and baby carrots are really good together and provide a satisfying cruchiness - you can eat quite a bit of both for 30 cals.

2 cups of lettuce contains only around 15 and a tomatoe adds about 25 more. Spritz with vinegar for a salad.

OP here

Thank you all so much for your help but my mum came home from her cookie exchange today and I ended up having a little snickerdoodle. I think I'm covered :-)
I wrote down all of your suggestions though, so next time I'm in a bind, I know where to go!

OP, may I offer a thought? Maybe your calorie counting doesn't need to be quite so strict. If you're not hungry, don't eat the extra 30. Or if you are, have an apple for 80 and don't worry about it. Just a thought.

I agree with PP. I cannot live my life with such strict guidelines. I need to just teach myself how to eat the right and healthy thing and then I will end up eating the right calories not by counting but by teaching myself and my stomach when enough is enough and what feels right.

If she likes counting calories - and some of us do - then it may not feel strict to her! And some people need those strict numbers to stick to b/c next thing you know you have 30 to spare and you eat 80 calories, then next time it's 100, and so on. Moving limits don't work for everyone!

Ideally, though, like a few said - if you're not hungry don't eat! Ah...we should all live by those words, right?

This is 1:11 - moving limits work for me because I make a point of aiming for a number, and some days I'm over and some days I'm under. For every day I'm 100 calories over, I have another where I'm 100 under! That's the only way it works!

I am looking for a life style change not a DIET. Will you actually count calories for the rest of your life?

I budget and keep track of my money and plan to the rest of my life. I'll count calories, too. It's my way of life :)

If that is what it takes to be healthy and the right size for me I will count calories for the rest of my life. Though at my goal I will give myself more. But being so free with food is what got me to where I am.

About the 30 cal foods. I love pickled veggies though they are high in salt so you have to take that into consideration.
And when I buy apples I buy small ones so there aren't as many calories in them.
I used to make jello with a bit of fruit like strawberries and yogurt in it and then have a 25 cal portion of it.
It is really yummy and creamy.
mini rice cakes are good too.
That is all I can think of but I like this thread.
