Group - not logging or posting
I joined PeerTrainer about 2 weeks ago and started my own group, which is now full. Except none of the other three are logging or posting at all. One girl has not even posted or logged at all since joining. Is there any way to get them off my group, or should I just leave that group and start another one? Thanks!

If they don't post or log for seven days, they'll be booted from all groups automatically.
But sometimes it works better to look through existing groups and find one that seems a good fit. Join them briefly and skim through the comments section--see if there are lots of recent comments by the same people who are listed as members of the group. If not, leave the group and find another.
It may take a few days, maybe a couple of weeks to find a good busy group that shares your focus, but it can be done. I've got three!

Join several groups. There is an ebb and flow to the groups, some being more active at times than others. I've got one that has a steady rotation of new members that I would drop, but there's one other person that just logs their workouts (that's her goal) and I don't feel like abandoning her. I belong to four which, if they are all active, are about as many as I can keep up with.

It took me a while to find a good group too. Don't give up. There is a fit for you. The accountability and encouragement from the group is very important. Think about your goals and then look for a group or team that has your same ideas in their "team/group profile" . You'll find one that fits soon. Untill then, you can use the community and etc to keep learning how all this works and use it for your best benifit.

Been there, and its hard when others don't log and comment. I have found that I have to be in several groups . Two of my groups are very active, while the others are more every few days. Also, one of the groups I am in does have one person that has not logged in since the 23rd but the rest of us log and comment everyday maybe Monday it will be open again so be on the look out.
I was also in one group that started out strong but then it seemed as if I was the only one logging or commenting. Not fun or encouraging at all. Hang in there.

This is an endless struggle. I think a lot of people join and then just abandon the groups. One solution is for one of us who likes a lively exchange to start another group and advertise in this area for active posters only. Those groups ususally fill up fast and have a better chance. Have to run now but if you folks say you'd like to join an active group, I'll start on tonight and advertise in this thread. Who is interested? I'm female, 46, have 60# to loose, prefer focusing on healthy eating (lots of veggies, healthy whole grains and healthy fats) and moderate exercise to obtain my goals. Are you in?

Dump your group and look for others. Don't waste your time. There's no way to get rid of people. Keep looking.

I'd love to join your group if you start one. I'm the OP here. I'm 41, mother of 3 and have lost about 35lbs. I post nearly every day and log every day.
