Walking

Does walking really take the weight off? If so, how much?

I can't tell you how much, it depends on how much you weigh, how much you walk and how fast you walk. But there are places on line that you can get a chart to calculate the calories burned. Google it and you will find something.
I have used walking as my main source of exercise for a long time and lost a ton of weight. Like 200 pounds. In conjunction with a low calorie diet. But as soon as I quit exercising and eating right it came right back. You have to keep up with it.
I have indoor walking tapes for during the winter time.
It is Leslie Sansone's walk the walk. Surprisingly they can be chanllenging. Working lots of different muscle groups.
Hope that helps.
