does your husband wash his hands?
this may sound like an odd question, but how do you get your guys to wash their hands on a regular basis?
Thu. Sep 27, 2:41pm
Since my children could walk on their own, I marched them into the bathroom every time we came home from somewhere; when I saw them picking/wiping their nose, it was into the bathroom we go. My husband (thank God) picked up on this so when we potty trained he always made the boys wash afterward. It's pretty much a habit for them now, but I still find myself asking if they washed when they come out of the bathroom.

Sometimes I feel like the hand-washing nazi. He comes out of the bathroom and I ask him if he washed his hands. He says yes. I ask "Did you use soap?" and back he goes into the bathroom!

My husband is totally germ-phobic. He carries around a spray bottle of rubbing alcohol to kill germs on surfaces before he touches them.

My husband has a severe and strange water sensitivity on his hands and feet. We're pretty sure it's psychological, because he's been to a few doctors and all tell him he's just being weird, ha. But even after a shower, his hands and feet have a very strange ache to them, so he clenches his fists really tight and crunches his toes. It's very cute, but I know it really bothers him. And since showers are absolutely necessary, I try to be lenient on the hand washing to keep the aching to a minimum.
So instead of getting on him about the hand washing, I just buy him waterless antibacterial cleanser. That way, I know he's clean and he doesn't have to deal with the water sensitivity issue.

This is so funny! I thought My husband was the only one who can touch anything or go to the bathroom without washing his hands. When I ask him why he didnt wash his hands after he comes out of the bathroom he says "I didnt get anything on them"

I asked my son the other day, son, did you wash your hands, "no" did you hold your penis? "no" oh ummmmm go wash your hands anyway. That totally explains why his bathroom is so gross!!

i stopped shaking hands as a way to greet or say goodbye after marrying my ex-husband. i never even thought about how gross some people are with regards to hygiene (or lack thereof) until i witnessed first-hand the grime some poeple are willing to endure/promote/enjoy. you seriously do not know where poeple's hands have been, whose hands they've just touched, or what they've been holding lately. i've been politely "bowing" instead of shaking the germ-catchers for 7 years now.

My husband washes his hands after using the restroom in public, but will not wash his hands at home. Wierd, I wash mine all the time, in pubic restrooms and at home.
