old threads

i think someone is bringing back old threads just to prove a point that they're out there. yes, we know they're out there and yes, we know there's a search feature. but i'm tired of so many threads the last few days being reincarnated from the depths of history. maybe people that post new threads on the same subject didn't get anything pertaining to their situation in the old ones and is looking for fresh perspective? there is still relevant posts in the old ones but c'mon enough already!

I totally agree. There is definitely a disgruntled PT'er. I wish she or he would focus on her health and fitness instead of trying desperately to prove a point.

Oh baloney. It's clear that most of the folks making new posts about the same old same old never bothered to search first. How many new ways are there to answer some of these basic questions - e.g. how often do you weigh, elliptical v. arc trainer, how much protein should I eat. Gee, so you find out that a handful of new people...uh...do the same stuff as the old ones. How useful.

Honestly, if those of you who are so bothered by repeat threads would put the same amount of energy into exercising and eating right - you would reach your goals. And you could then move on from PT and would never have to be bothered by repeat topics ever again. The rest of us could then happily read, answer, and post the same topics over and over again.

i'm the OP of this thread and guess what? 1. i did reach my goals and i'm not budging from PT. 2. i wrote it because this same broohaha was brought up in september and someone WAS posting on old threads so they would bump to the top to show there were old posted topics.

this post was relevant back in september because of the situation at the time, not now. so it looks like it proves the point that even if it's been discussed before it's not always worth bringing up.

Wow...bitchy posters

Get off our positive site! Get over yourselves, and don't read the posts you don't want to read. Did you ever think that maybe some of the people are new to the site, and are having fun exploring subjects important to them? Negative people suck!
