Hey everyone. This really isn't about weight but I do have a question. I really want to get motivated to loose weight but it seems like I'm the youngest person here. I'm 15 and have a lot of work to do before I reach my goal. Is it true?

Possibly - 33 here, F

I don't know how much age matters when you have a shared goal, but it will make a difference in your metabolism, how quickly you get into shape and your nutritional and sleep needs may be greater than us 'old' people who's metabolisms are slowing.

I think frustration with one's weight, health and appearance may well transcend mere age though ;-)

Welcome!

I agree. It doesn't matter how old you are. What matters is that you want to get into better shape and that is why most of us are here. This is about support. Don't worry about your age, I doubt anyone will care that your young. Good for you for being here.

Welcome from an almost 37 yr old

Don't use your age to stop you from getting healthy. We all have a lot of work to do! I'm 50! I wish I had started at your age.
