The part in Forrest Gump when Forrest is at Jenny's tree and he's talking about their son and he says "and he's so smart, Jenny!" It makes me cry with a lot of noise and snot every time. lol.
Tuesday, September 18, 2007, 11:10 AM

"Sommersby", starring Jodie Foster and Richard Gere. I mistakenly watched it with my new husband on Valentine's Day and couldn't stop crying afterwards.
Tuesday, September 18, 2007, 12:39 PM
Brokeback Mountain....the shirt scene kills me every time.
Tuesday, September 18, 2007, 1:07 PM
OP here

Tuesday, September 18, 2007, 1:11 PM
Walk to Remember for sure. Such a great movie. Stepmom too... the part where Susan Surandon tells Julia Robert's character she (the mom) had their past and she (stepmom) has their future. Makes me sob!
Tuesday, September 18, 2007, 2:08 PM

i just finished SHOOTER last night with Mark Wallberg--MUST see if you like action. not for children.
Tuesday, September 18, 2007, 4:27 PM
Oh Stepmom gets me every time too. And all those listed above!!!
Braveheart is another one for me, the end when he's watching his wife walk through the crowd and you know he's going to be with her soon... KILLS ME!

Tuesday, September 18, 2007, 8:14 PM
Iris ...
about Iris Murdoch and her husband. she suffered from and died of Alzheimer's.
but yes, the shirt scene in Brokeback was about the saddest scene ever.
House of Sand and Fog also a good choice if you want to get depressed.

Wednesday, September 19, 2007, 8:12 AM
Was Happiness a sad movie? Bleak and depressing, definitely. But I don't remember any sad parts.
The graveside scene in Forrest Gump always makes me tear up too..
Wednesday, September 19, 2007, 11:59 AM
It has a good ending, but "When a Man Loves a Woman" always makes me bawl!
Wednesday, September 19, 2007, 1:45 PM
Ghost, Beaches, The Green Mile & American History X are difficult to watch too!
Wednesday, September 19, 2007, 2:20 PM
Stella Dallas, with Barbara Stanwyk
Wednesday, September 19, 2007, 2:32 PM
The notebook - love it but sad...so good, Fried Green Tomatoes is another sad one.
Wednesday, September 19, 2007, 2:38 PM
i guess watching a bleak and depressing movie makes me sad. a movie about child molesters and perverted introverts living seemingly regular lives in society is sad to me. thanks for the editorial.
Wednesday, September 19, 2007, 2:49 PM
By far the all time tear jerker is Terms of Endearment and Steel Magnolias
Wednesday, September 19, 2007, 4:35 PM
What about Old Yeller? There is a little New Zealand film called Once We're Warriors, it is an amazingly sad film, whoever loves to cry at a good movie should find this one to rent.
Wednesday, September 19, 2007, 4:39 PM
I'm going to have to re-watch steel magnolias - I dont remember that being sad...
Wednesday, September 19, 2007, 4:58 PM
steel magnolias--remember when julia roberts dies and sally fields is at her grave site with her friends screaming "why, why-her son will never know how wonderful she was!" oh, takes my every time!
Wednesday, September 19, 2007, 5:05 PM
Steel Magnolias and Anywhere But Here.
Wednesday, September 19, 2007, 7:54 PM
