Anyone heard of this?
MBT sport/athletic sneakers. They are swiss engineered and designed cliaming to better postire, circulation, cellulite and abs. They are only sneakers, right? Anyone heard or tried these with some real feedback?
I want to try them but they are pricey- I have to know they work!!!!!!!

Bliss spa carries them. I heard they are great but then again, I've never seen the cellulite disappear first hand. Would love to see if anyone has tried them too. They are unattractive - I've seen a few people wearing them here in NY and you can tell what they are immediately. Even in black.

I meant to say "posture" and "claiming" not the typos shown : /
I do know Bliss carried them but at $245 for the sport pair and the recommendation to cross train with the athletic pair at the same price- whoa! Tres chere!

google it
There were a few magazine articles on them a while back. Gets rid of cellulite by toning your legs - no magic there. I'd rather wear stylish shoes and do some squats at the gym - in proper footwear - but that's just me.

Bump
Wondering if anyone else has tried these? I am contemplating getting the sandals because my hip is in almost constant pain (ever since I started wearing my crappy old navy sandals instead of my normal sneakers). Any thoughts?

MBTs
I have them and they dont get rid of cellulite (That was never one of the manufacturers claims) but they do tone you and force you to use your core all the time in standing and walking. For me they were not good for hiking or downhills since you are off balance and they take getting used to. I recommend adding only ten minutes a day til you get used to them. My orthopedist and pilates instructor both wear them. My pilates instructor is in great shape and she wore them 4 hours the first day and was sore for three days after. They basically force you to balance all the time on the balls of your feet. you are never fully relaxed. This keeps your core working to maintain your posture. It does not feel like work once you are used to them. If you dont do any abs work, get yourself toned up before you get these and it may be easier.

August's Self magazine had a product review of 4-5 "exer-shoes" that multi-task along the lines of MBT. One of them is priced a bit closer to the realm of possibility - the Earth Rocket @ $109. They claim to have "negative heel technology" to improve posture, tone butt/legs, and burn up to 26% more calories. Might be worth researching the veracity of such claims...oh, if it were true!

a friend of mine has a pair, she's worn them once that i know of. they recommend them for a few hours a day and she wore them all day to work, and she was sore for a week.... hasn't worn them since!
me on the other hand, would like to give them a try i could use some posture strengthening. too bad her feet are way bigger than mine....
