vitamins that don't make my pee turn bright yellow?

is there such a thing- a vitamin where all the stuff doesn't get flushed out.

Why does it matter? Are you thinking that the yellow color representes something that is good and should stay in you?

Urine is yellow because it contains waste products from your blood that is stored in the kidney, You can drink more water to dilute the waste, but you don't want the waste to be retained in your body.

Vitamins will do that. It is not a bad thing. It's not like you're showing anyone your pee..are you?

Well, I take one that turns my pee kind of green....? If you like that better, I could double-check and see what it is. If you are looking for pink or blue, I haven't found that yet.

If you're taking a vitamin and it;s turning yellow - that's good..it means everythings working good.

Water-soluble vitamins get flushed out thru the urine..if they weren't - we'd be poisoned.

We can only absorb so much of some nutrients at a time-some need to be eaten with fat, others with water, some need other vitamins be present in order to be absorbed properly and you will pee out what doesn't get absorbed. That is why many vitamins today are for taking 2 or 3 a day with meals as opposed to once a day (don't start taking a once a day vitamin 2 or 3 times a day though, that's BAD!)-the likelihood of absorption goes up with frequency of dose. It's entirely normal for your pee to be yellow after taking a vitamin. Manufacturers put more than the body can absorb in each pill to increase it's potential for working.

Honestly though, what does it matter what color your pee is (aside from having a kidney problem)? Are you showing it to someone? haha!

A whole foods based vitamin will not turn the pee yellow. For example I take Joel Fuhrman's Gentle Care multivitamin and it does not make my pee turn yellow no matter how many I take. my guess is that my body is absorbing the nutrients like it would regular food. My pee does not turn yellow after eating a massive veggie filled salad so that makes sense.
