Could someone tell me what this is.. ( For the ladies )
My last period was on July 26 2007, and usually, my periods last 7 days. Im not sure about how far apart my periods are, and i really wish i knew. In between these times I haven't had actual intercourse, but have recieved and given oral sex. My partner would always be the first one to start, and i would always be the one to end ( fingers are obviously put to use ). After i did what i did i never touched myself with his semen on my hand neither did he. We always washed up after he ejactulated. Its August 27 2007, and i still haven't had my period. On August 22-23rd, i've experienced a little bit of bleeding ( not enough to use a pad or tampon ). Ever since the 24th, i've been encountering a little bit of back ache, slightly sore breasts and nipples, and frequent urination. Is this just my period starting up again ?!

If you think something is weird, go to your doctor. I don't think it's possible for you to be pregnant, given what you described, but there can be other reasons for missed periods, and some of them may be serious. Though, you may want to wait a few days - the symptoms you're describing sure sound like PMS!

Don't torture yourself, go get a pregnancy test.
Monday, August 27, 2007, 5:59 PM
Just get a preg test. I waited for a week before I got one, and it was torture. Don't worry, it really IS better to know. I don't think you are pregnant, but I didn't think I was either.
A girl back in school wasn't getting her period, and the doc found out it was because of a large blood clot. You should get checked out, could be the same thing.

Have you been super active lately? I know that changing your diet & exercise patterns can change your hormonal balance & therefore your period.
I'm not sure that you needed to be quite so descriptive... :)
Monday, August 27, 2007, 6:18 PM
I haven't been eating what i usually eat lately, and i haven't been excersizing at all. I've never actually did excersize. Not on purpose anyway, even if i know i should. But im healthy?

this is the teen!!! haha....

It is extremely, extremely unlikely you are pregnant so don't worry about that. You probably just have PMS right now. Wait three or four more days and if you don't get your period, go to the doctor. There might be something wrong or your period might just be irregular. When you do get your period, mark the date down somewhere and start keeping track so you can be more familiar with your cycle.
Monday, August 27, 2007, 7:58 PM
Is this a joke??? Or are you just 15 or something? If you didn't have actual intercourse and your positive no cum got into you then you can't be pregnant. It could be stress that is causing you to be late. I still have a hard time believing and adult would not know what to do. Get a pregnancy test if your worried, DUH!!!
Monday, August 27, 2007, 8:46 PM
If you are having a backache, sore nipples etc, then your period is on it's way most likely. Especially since you said you don't really track your periods-how do you know when to expect it? Women's cycles vary and can be as short as 21 days and as long as 36 days apart. Start tracking yours from now on.
If you didn't have sex-odds are seriously high that you are NOT pregnant!!! Buy a pregnancy test and take it to make yourself feel better. Also, it sounds as though you might be quite young-sometimes your cycle isn't yet regular during your teenage years. Hang in there!

Sounds to me like....
maybe I'm reading your post wrong but it doesn't sound to me like you're dumb, it sounds like you're alluding to the possibility of your partner ejaculating on you? Maybe I'm reading what's not there. Anywhoozle, PMS symptoms are, unfortunately, like prego symptoms, so you can't really know there. Frequent urination could also be early prego symptoms, although it could also just be nerves.
I recently went through a recent scare myself, get the "First Response" preg test-- it's the pink box. It's pretty sensitive, so if you're already late it should tell you whether you have something to worry about or not.
Good luck, and go to the doc even if it's negative just in case!
Keep us posted!

So if you know your last period was exactly 1 month ago and you don't know how far apart they usually are and you've got obvious PMS signs, why are you asking yourself or us this question just yet? No need to freak out for at least a week.

What I want to know is what's the point of claiming it's a "teen" who wrote that or "omg..what are you..15?!!?"
Uh, adults can be stupid too!
Monday, August 27, 2007, 11:58 PM
Yeah, but only a teenager would feel that that kind of graphic detail was relevant.
Tuesday, August 28, 2007, 10:14 AM
Not true, again.
I'm 17 and would never divulge that much info about my sex life! That's a personality difference, not an age one.

Despite what everyone wrote about the graphic nature of the post, etc. you have a true concern. First things first - track your periods. You should mark the first day of your cycle and the length. Keep a record for a few months. Your body might just be adjusting to a new cycle if you are losing weight, or have changed your diet. Then you won't have many concerns if this happens again... if you are being careful. The second thing is that your stressing over your missed period is probably keeping it from coming along now. Take a load off your mind and take a test. It is better to know, and if (just if) you happen to be pregnant then you can get yourself to the doctor ASAP for a complete eval. And lastly, if you take the test and you have waited a few days without getting your period you should definitely get yourself to a doctor to get checked out. I had a delayed period b/c of a change in the birth control I was using. They switched my brand (again) and a few days later - bam!

what you have is called "paranoia".
Tuesday, August 28, 2007, 3:57 PM
I don't see why some here are putting the girl down. She's in a situation right now and I don't see why you need to make it worse. Anyway.. Its extremely impossible for you to be pregnant, especially from the details given. It IS best to take a pregnancy test to relieve you of your worries.

I've been searching up the lengths of days between periods, and I keep getting different answers.. Does someone know ?!
Thursday, August 30, 2007, 9:09 AM
I know 21-35 days is a normal cycle. Last summer, my periods were being funny- coming every 3 weeks for a few months, which worried me since it's always come every 4 weeks, but I was looking at websites and 21-35 days is normal and even my doctor and gyno said nothing was wrong. Also during those few months, I too had light spotting for a few days and then I had a light period. Well hope the best works out for you.

So, OP, what's the deal? Did you get a test yet??
Thursday, August 30, 2007, 10:10 AM
good questions! what's up OP?
Friday, August 31, 2007, 4:41 PM
Uncompassionate
I wouldn't blame the OP if she didn't want to come back on here anymore because of the negative response she received by some people. No matter what her age is, she asked for help. Since when does anyone have the right to indicate that she is stupid because she just doesn't know.
I hope that the OP does let us know what's going on. Lets say she is young. What if this was your daughter who came on here for an opinion, would you want us to call her stupid?
Think before you post. You may not know the entire story behind the question!
Friday, August 31, 2007, 9:42 PM
Although i did have a couple negative comments, im glad to say that i've gotten my period unusuallly late, and just thank you for those who helped me out. (:
Saturday, September 8, 2007, 6:47 PM
9:40 post here....That's good. I've been wondering about your result. Just be careful next time, especially if you're young (well from what everyone has said here I'm just assuming you're young). You don't want to make a single choice that you'll regret...and this is coming from a young person cuz I've seen many girls I went to high school with pregnant. But I'm sure after this scare you've realized this.
