Drug Free

I had a cocaine problem for 2 years, once or twice a week. Along side that drug, I was taking quite a list of others. I have now been drug free for two months. It did nothing but negative things to me and my life. Personally, I just hated myself and how I felt, and forced myself to change. I felt ashamed of myself.

I was wondering if anyone else on Peertrainer has had drug issues, and either is trying to get out of it or already has, and how they did it.

you should start a team for addiction. I think many people would be addicted.

Yeah....congratulations...you are doing such a good thing. By coupling stopping coccaine with getting other areas of your life in good order you are taking steps toward a better life. Best to you!

I'm drug free now for 15 years now after being addicted to a list of thing from crack to pot for 10 years. The way I did it was to completely remove myself from everything and everyone I know. I left the state and just started over. The first 6 months was hard but I felt good, better then I ever remembered feeling and the rest is history. I left when I did cause I knew there was only two options left for me, jail or death and I hated who I had become and the things I did for drugs. I appreciate the strength I had to walk away and the faith in myself for accomplishing what so many I knew couldn't.

Good for you!
