If you were on death row, what would your last meal be?
It's the night of your execution and you're allowed to have any food you want...what would be on your menu?
Thu. Aug 16, 4:28pm
crow

I would have a porterhouse steak cooked medium well, from Morton's with a lobster tail flown in from Australia; and for dessert, i would have a hearty slice of Junior's cheesecake with cherries, and some german chocolate mousse with a huge mound of fresh whipped cream on top. somehow i would have to find room to add a fresh ripe mango too.
Thursday, August 16, 2007, 4:36 PM
definitely lobster stuffed with crabmeat with herb roasted tomatoes smothered in garlic. I'd want some of those garlic butter biscuits they serve at red lobster too.
for dessert...carrot cake, cheese cake, rocky road ice cream, in a huge waffle cone.
Thursday, August 16, 2007, 4:48 PM
A smorgasbord of pasta... shells and cheese, fetticine alfredo, lasagna, sundried tomato pizza. Piping hot garlic bread. And then a "Molten" from Chili's - warm chocoate cake with hot fudge inside, ala mode. No fruits and vegetables - I'm sure there will be plenty of them in HELL!
Thursday, August 16, 2007, 4:51 PM
A tuna melt on rye with a huge about of fries and ketchup, pizza from domino's, lots of angel hair pasta in alfredo, coffee ice cream, Napoleon cake, ohhhht he list will go on forever...
Thursday, August 16, 2007, 4:57 PM
Fried Chicken
a bucket of popeye's chicken
shrimp scampi with linguine
pizza pie with sausage and peppers (not that dominoes crap, some real NY pizza)
A wendy's baconator with extra pickles on it (and honey mustard)
A pistachio milkshake from Friendlys
Thursday, August 16, 2007, 5:03 PM
this is a wicked thread....now i have to go think about it before i post my last meal :)
Thursday, August 16, 2007, 5:04 PM
it's funny, most of this stuff listed that i over-indulged on doesn't even sound good anymore. it kinda makes me nauseous to think about it. so if i had to pick a last meal, i'd keep it simple-
crab legs and claws... (with a little butter and lemon juice)
Thursday, August 16, 2007, 5:08 PM
Apple Pie
i'd want some of my auntie's home made apple pie and peach cobbler with some vanilla ice cream. the crab legs sound good too!
Thursday, August 16, 2007, 5:18 PM
Last meal
If it's my LAST meal, well then here goes..
Outback Sirloin
Baked Potato with EXTRA butter
Chef Boy R Dee Spaghetti and Meatballs
WISE Potato Chips (Regular and BBQ..lol)
Homemade mashed potatoes with real butter and milk and my Grandma's turkey gravy..
Chipotle Chicken Burrito Bol
For dessert:
Brownies and Ice cream
Gross, huh? LOL
Thursday, August 16, 2007, 5:23 PM
Woweee!
Are you guys calculating the calories in these menus? You'd die from eating all that crap before getting to the chair!
I'm no better though because I would over indulge in
Haagen Dazs Pineapple coconut ice cream
4 broiled lamb chops (my favorite)
some fried chicken
a devils' food chocolate cake with a large glass of cold milk
bag of oreos, also with milk
Breyer's butter almond ice cream
and some fried shriimp with tartar sauce and cocktail sauce
Thursday, August 16, 2007, 5:32 PM
Okay so its official - this thread was the WORST idea ever!! I am totally salivating right now!
Thursday, August 16, 2007, 8:24 PM
Alright whose idea was this? This is really bad. I'm getting too hungry reading this! STAY AWAY!!!!! It's nooot good for anyone's diet.
Thursday, August 16, 2007, 8:34 PM
Is your mom allowed to cook for you if you're on death row?
Thursday, August 16, 2007, 8:38 PM
Last meal
A BBQ'd T-bone steak with a baked sweet potato smothered in butter and brown sugar, along with corn-on-the-cob, garlic bread, and a crystal glass filled with 7 Deadly Zin wine. For dessert -- a HUGE bowl of coffee ice cream sprinkled with toated almonds. Topped off with a Starbucks Venti Cafe Latte with two pumps of Hazelnut and a cup of Irish Coffee smothered with whip cream.
Thursday, August 16, 2007, 8:47 PM
Prime rib, lobster drenched in butter, mashed potatoes with lots of creme and butter, super rich decadent chocolate cake with milk. This would probably give me a heart attack and then they wouldn't have to fry me in the chair. hehe
Friday, August 17, 2007, 1:52 AM
last meal or last binge?
Friday, August 17, 2007, 7:48 AM
I would have to have an ultimate feast from red lobster
an amaretto sour
some cheesecake
some candied yams
a homemade chicken pot pie
some key lime pie
herb grilled pork chops
baked potato
chicken quesadillas
and of course some buffalo wings with lots of bleu cheese!
Friday, August 17, 2007, 9:33 AM
Appetizer - Deep fried calamari from Moxies
Entre - seaside shrimp trio and a biscuit from Red Lobster.
Dessert - Warm white chocolate brownie from Moxies.
Then....i would die slowly from over indulging and there would be no need for anyone else to kill me. It would make their job easier.
Oh...and i am now a little disgusted from everything i wronte on here. :(
Friday, August 17, 2007, 10:37 AM
velveta mac n cheese; cheese pizza from papa ginos; diary queen blizzard (i'm ghetto!)
Friday, August 17, 2007, 10:52 AM
Pizza with everything on it
and a black and white milkshake
a bag of m&m (almond)
and a box of crunch n munch
with an ice cold mountain dew to wash it all down.
Monday, August 20, 2007, 5:16 PM
prime rib w/ horseradish sauce, king crab legs and escargo w/garlic butter, baked potatoe w/everything and 2 pc of REAL NY cheesecake
or I'd just settle for a NYC pizza and a hot dog w/red onions (if your from NY you know which ones I'm talking about) a yohoo and 3 devil dogs or drakes cakes
Monday, August 20, 2007, 8:05 PM
Mmmm, Peking duck! Like, the whole duck. Maybe some pad thai and something with crab, too... Naan bread with mango chutney, some good quality sushi with loads of soy. A big slice of chocolate cake and a pot of tea for dessert!
I might lose my appetite if I knew I was about to die, however.
Tuesday, August 21, 2007, 12:07 AM
Home cooked roast dinner
Home cooked roast with yorkshire puddings. qourn fillet or roast though instead of meat as I'm verggie but then again I love indian food, and maybe mint choc chip icecream with m&m's for desert....or maybe cheesecake.....god knows! too many good foods out there.
Tuesday, August 21, 2007, 8:23 AM
i hear the choosing of one's last meal is the hardest thing about being on death row.
Tuesday, August 21, 2007, 8:31 AM
I wouldn't be able to eat. Any time in my life that I've had a tremendously stressful event, I've been dizzy and queasy and definitely unable to even think about eating. What could be more stressful than knowing you are soon going to be put to death against your will and with people watching???
Tuesday, August 21, 2007, 9:50 AM
i don't know. being brutally raped and then slowly tortured to death might elicit a little more anxiety. people don't end up on death row for planting flowers illegally.
Tuesday, August 21, 2007, 9:54 AM
way to bring the crowd down 9:54.
I'd have a very large 6 egg omelet with bacon and cheddar and about 5 bagels with cream cheese. Very large cup of coffee and a chocolate crossiant. make that 2. I'd also have toasted banana nut muffin with butter.
Tuesday, August 21, 2007, 10:02 AM
well, we don't have to pretend we're on death row to contemplate about what our last-meal-of-choice would be. maybe you've never come into contact with anyone on death row, but i don't think we should romanticize it unnecessarily.
Tuesday, August 21, 2007, 10:22 AM
It's amazing to me the quantity of food that most people want to eat. Just an observation, but it sounds like a lot of people want to gorge themselves more than anything else.
I hear the most common death row last meal is a McDonald's value meal. Maybe because there is a price limit on it. But that does sound pretty good! I think I'd want an olive-and-cheese platter with Carr's crackers.
Tuesday, August 21, 2007, 10:26 AM
Husband's twice baked garlic mac 'n cheese, mashed potatoes and gravy, corn on the cob, red velvet cake.
Tuesday, August 21, 2007, 10:29 AM
twice baked?
do you have a recipe for that twice baked mac n cheez? I'd of course have to try and substitute everything to make it as healty as possible, but it sounds delish!
some of you posters crack me up, reading into every thing so deeply. just answer about what you would like to eat if it were your last meal. you guys crack me up!
Tuesday, August 21, 2007, 12:14 PM
Kentucky Fried Chicken
Wednesday, August 22, 2007, 12:16 PM
i don't "try" to read into things and come up with deep thoughts or adverse reactions. it comes naturally to me. i often get as a response from others, "why are you reading into this so much?", but truth be told, it's just how i am. i try to understand things they way many others have expressed that they understand things, but what can i say, i see things and absorb information differently than that. i wasn't trying to offend but to share my opinion, and that's all.
Wednesday, August 22, 2007, 12:59 PM
Crab legs w/ butter
Baby spinach w/ garlic
Fresh fruit -- I love it!!
Creme brulee, cheesecake
Booze
