did you find out that....
Did you find out after the weight loss that you do not have a pretty face....
when people are over weight sometimes others say;she has such a pretty face if she would only lose weight she would look great.

I found that out the hard way,I lost the weight but the skin on my face sagged.

I HATE that comment: "oh, she'd be so pretty if she'd just lost weight". Like you can't be pretty and overweight at the same time? Pretty is pretty, either you are or you aren't. If you don't believe me ask a thin unattractive person.

You've got such a pretty face...
you're an asshole (my response).
The insinuation is that your beauty is a waste, being on a chubby body....or that the one commenting doesn't want anyone to think that he/she thinks your fat ass is attractive, so you only get the face comment.

skin on your face sagged? Are you eating healthy?? Sounds very odd, healthier diet should encourage healthier and springier skin. Maybe you are eating way too many "diet" foods that lack nutritional content. Maybe you spend much more time in the sun excercising, so the suna damage is affecting your skin. Just a thought.

skin will be saggy if he/she lost a lot of weight.

I'm still pretty but my face looks REALLY different! I don't look like me sometimes and when people haven't seen me in a long time, they comment on how much my face looks different from the weight loss. Even though the rest of my body is still curvy and healthy looking (I'm about 138 lbs and 5 ft 4in) my face sometimes looks gaunt!
Your face has less fat than other areas of the body and as we get older, you naturally lose fat/elasticity in your face first (even if you aren't losing weight) so that might be one of the reasons the earlier poster said their face is saggy now. It'll naturally happen to most of us, even if you don't lose weight!!

My Grandfather used to tell me I'd be good lookin' if it wasn't for my face....
He said that to everyone just to get their goat. But I used to think, But that is the only part of me that looks half way descent.
People just don't know how words can hurt a person.

A girl I work with recently told me she'd lost 80 pounds-I had no idea! She later brought me a picture of herself weighing 80 pounds more. It was a "lightbulb" moment for me! In the picture where she was obese, her nose was spread half an inch wider than her current nose. This was another motivator for me! I've always disliked my wider-than-normal nose. I realize now that losing the 100 pounds (well, 83-II've ost 17) will possibly give me the nose I want...like it did hers! :)

Oh gosh did my face change! My eyes, which used to seem kinda small and squinty now dominate my face and seem quite large to me. My chin (now just the one chin - lol!) is much more prominent. I have cheekbones! Who knew? My forehead does seem kinda large though, but since I can now wear lots of different hairstyles - I can minimize that. I've lost 30 and I have about 20 more to go. So excited!
