Anyone know a good egg white and oatmeal pancake recipe?

I'm looking for one without butter, flour, or milk. Anyone know?
Thanks ahead of time!

i found this recipe by typing in "egg white oatmeal pancakes" into the google window. it's very helpful. this may sound rude, but my intentions are only good. you can really find a lot of information by googling.

Maybe the OP just wanted one that has proved to be good rather than experimenting.

I agree with you though, people should "google" more.

OP here, thanks for the tip, I do know about google ;)

I was hoping someone has one at home that they make on a regular basis, and have perfected over time...

The huge amount of stuf fonline could have been made up right before the person wrote it. You never know. I also know how to make them, but wanted another version maybe.

Yes, I did check it out, and the recipe requires milk and flour, which I stated I do not want. I any case, I substituted water for milk and used the oatmeal flour anyway, and made them.

Turned out gross.
Sorry :(

Here's a few recipes =) They're for the fatsmash diet, which doesn't allow flour XD

And for 3.13, good job calling out the OP and then not even helping her. If people should google more, then what is to be said of people who should READ more?

Enjoy, OP, and don't allow people to bother you =)

i didn't intend to "call her out" and i linked to a recipe that i thought would work for her. i took the time to read her request and try to be helpful. i even specifically stated that i was not trying to be rude. many people do not know how to navigate on the web, myself included. i was hoping to give the op a new research idea. as far as the recipe, it had the option to substitute water for milk and the so-called flour is ground up oats. gheez. so sorry i gave a sh*t and tried to help you.

Ingredients:

1 cup fat free milk (or water)*

3/4 cup oatmeal (uncooked, quick or regular oats)

3/4 cup oatmeal flour (easy to make: just blend uncooked oatmeal in a blender!)

1 tsp baking powder (optional)

1/4 tsp salt (optional)

4 large whites

1/2 tsp cinnamon, ground

i think it's incredibly rude to dismiss someone's attempt to provide a requested recipe and then go on to say the recipe was gross. couldn't you have just said, "thanks. it was nice of you to respond and suggest a recipe." you didn't have to tear it all apart. at least not in the manner that you did. it's these kind of responses that deter me from reaching out and offering suggestions to posted questions/requests.

did the OP really make the linked-to recipe in that span of time? or just criticize it and the poster who provider?

Why is it incredibly rude???

It's not like this recipe was her own creation and work! She just found it online! Plus, I want to tell others its not that great, what's wrong with that? I think you are taking this overboard. I did not "tear it apart". I just said it was gross. It's not like she made them for me and brought them to my house, that would be different.

I would like to hear if anyone else made it and what they think. Maybe it's just my experience. But I see nothing wrong with calling something gross if it actually is gross.

Anyway, thanks for the recipe, and sorry if you were offended by my comment. Didn't mean to hurt your feelings...

Could you modify this recipe???

Here is an amazing oatmeal pancake recipe. I would think you would be able to use egg whites instead of whole eggs and as for the flour...hmmm, not sure. Sorry if this doesn't help you, but thought I would give it to you anyway. Fat free buttermilk makes these pancakes delicious!!

Oatmeal Pancakes

1 ½ cup quick quaker oats

2 cups buttermilk

Mix and add:

2 beaten eggs

Mix and add:

¾ cup flour

1 tsp sugar

Generous ½ tsp salt

2 tsp baking soda

I havent tried this but looks good.

I just found this site...totally love it! I am starting detox today for the second time (lost 9 lbs on first phase 1) allowed myself some holiday cheer and am now ready to get back on track...anyway, here is my super easy recipe for yummy pancakes...

1/2 cup dry oatmeal
3 egg whites
1/2 cup NF yogurt (any flavor)

Throw it all in the blender, use it like pancake batter, if it's too thick add yogurt, too thin add oatmeal...(makes two good size pancakes)
I usually make them with vanilla yogurt, makes the pancakes just sweet enough to not need syrup, I tried it with some gingerbread flavored yogurt (holiday special they were selling) and boy were they good...gonna try strawberry the next time.
