OT Nose piercing Q

I have had my nose pierced for over a yr now. I always use an 18 gage screw ring. I am thinking about getting a bone ring. I have heard that many people have had to cut them off cause they get the little ball part stuck inside their nose. I really like several of the styles in the 20 gague so I was wondering if anyone who uses the bone rings could give me a success story. I am sure some people like wearing them or why would they sell them. I am wondering if the above probs came from people who had recent piercings and the tissue was still healing so it closed around the ball. I'm not sure just throwing out the thought. Any comments are welcomed!!
