what do you really truly deep down like about your life. Not what you think people want to hear, but how do you define an enjoyable quality life?

Being able to enjoy a sunny day outside, that is the best indicator for me. Also, looking good. And having a man that loves me.

A wonderful husband who shares my life with me. My daughters who are 13 and 15 and still love me. My job which challenges me but gives me the flexibility I need. My health which let's me be active and enjoy life - walk, golf, swim, kayak, ride. My dog ... silly, I know... but that unconditional love - she's just so happy to see me no matter what.

This is contentment.

Growth.

I love my family, the outdoors, sunny days, creative adventures, etc., and those are the things that make my life beautiful.

I could do without some things I love; I would have a hard time doing without other things I love.

Some things I love contribute to my growth, such as my family.

And I believe growth is what I am here for.

Why oh why must religion creep in

The maker of the Universe , you mean the lightning bolt into the primordial ooze.

As much as my man and I complain about finances or our jobs and family stress, sometimes we sit down with a glass of wine, and a really nice homemade dinner and look at our insanely sweet cat (she's also sweetly insane!) and realize that we have it pretty darn good! We have love, full bellies, enough $ for some of the little things, a warm place to sleep at night, two newish cars to get us where we need to go, good friends to spend time with and we are healthy.

Life is good.

Enough money to not have to worry.
Enough love to feel worthy and secure.
My life has meaning and quality if I am achieving something that affects the world for the better.

8:54 PM, that wasn't nice. This site is about reaching out and being supportive of each other. I don't have the same belief as the original poster but wouldn't think of mocking him/her. People need to have something powerful to believe in (for you perhaps it is yourself). Whatever it may be, we all need to respect the beliefs of others, whether we agree or not.

It always amazes me how people who don't believe in God are so bothered by people who do. I think they are secrely jealous (or perhaps NOT so secretly) Just leave people alone if you don't agree - you're showing your true feelings.

Sleep - if you're getting plenty, it means that your problems aren't so bad that they keep you awake at night, and you've actually got the time and conditions to enjoy it. In a perfect world, this state is induced by fulfilling sex with someone who adores you as much as you adore him or her.
