FAMOUS PEOPLE
DOES ANY ONE HERE HAVE A FAMOUS PERSONS BODY THAT INSPIRES THEM TO WORK OUT....I HAVE A POSTER OF BEYONCE IN MY HOME OFFICE AND THAT MOTIVATES ME TO GO ON WITH MY DIET.
Wed. Aug 1, 2:49pm
No not really. The famous people do not have a life like mine, they can work out all they want, and pay for a lot of more than I can. They better look better than me, because of all effort they put in. Besides I think striving for a celebrity body creates unhealthy obsessions with one's body. Trust me, sooner or later you will realize that you can not look like her, and you may get depressed over it and quit the diet all togehter. Why not just strive for the best you can look...

Well not everybody does. And please stop yellling. It is rude.
Wednesday, August 1, 2007, 3:06 PM
i have pictures of myself at a healthier weight for motivation. celebrities really don't do anything like "inspire" me. i'd more likely clip a pic of an athlete if a stranger was my inspiration.

I wanted Angelina Joli's body before she got too skinny. I aspire to her Tomb Raideresque body.
Wednesday, August 1, 2007, 3:09 PM
Jessica Alba and Jessica Biel. I know i will never look like them, but i think they have a nice body. Especially Jessica Biel.
Oh...and Beyonce. If i could look and dance like her i would be in heaven!

Well Actually
Where e-mail ettiquette is concerned, yes caps is yelling. No issues, simply communication manners

FAMOUS PEOPLE
I agree with having an old pic of my self on the fridge for inspiration.
Wednesday, August 1, 2007, 3:12 PM
i hate reading things that are written in all caps.
Wednesday, August 1, 2007, 3:12 PM
FAMOUS PEOPLE
Nothing wrong with having pics of famous people for motivation
I think Jlo has a great body.

Famous People
I had no idea that using all caps was annoying for some people
sorry...

famous people
I think Beyonce looked better before with a fuller figure than now well she still looks hot but I think it looks healthier to be a little fuller.
Wednesday, August 1, 2007, 3:18 PM
Nicole Richie!!!
O.K. just kiddin.
I, being the naturally hippy gal that I am (seriously, when I am in great althletic shape, my measurements are 32-24!-38, look to J. Lo as work out inspiration. In a dream world I would love to walk w/Cameron Diaz's legs.

Monica Brant -- no idea whether or not she is famous, but Oxygen readers will know who I mean.
Wednesday, August 1, 2007, 4:33 PM
Have you ever noticed Monica Brant's smile, it is the strangest, I agree I envy her body but she has the weirdest smile that ruins all her pictures.
Wednesday, August 1, 2007, 4:48 PM
i do not like her body type. too over the top. i wonder how hard it is to maintain that...?
Wednesday, August 1, 2007, 5:02 PM
I am also more motivated by my own 'skinny' pictures! Just look through some old photo albums, and that's where/what I want to be again.
Wednesday, August 1, 2007, 8:44 PM
4:33 here...
Yeah, if you look at old pictures of Monica Brant she doesn't have that funny smile, but her jaw has become more prognathous and I wonder if that is a result of steroid use. Either that or her jaw was broken at some time and she needs to sue the surgeon that set it.
I agree that her competition body is over the top. The pic of her on my fridge is one from a supplement ad, where she is wearing high heels and kind of looking at the floor. Not too ripped, but you can see that she has muscles. Also, you can tell that she isn't freakishly tall like most models and actresses. As a short person I like that... :-)

Geesh!! Some of you are so boring and PC with your answers. What's wrong with admiring a celebrities body. Everyone is motivated by different things at different times and whatever gets you to move, USE IT!!
Personally I think celebrities have it harder when it comes to maintaining their figure or losing weight. They are extremely busy, much busier than many of us, they always have eyes on them and are basically not allowed to be human and fall off the wagon. I can't imagine what it must be like for Kirstie Alley, Tyra Banks, or Oprah to have their weight scrutinized by millions of people. Most of us can't even handle 1 comment from a friend. Keep the trainers and chefs. Too much pressure!!!
Anyways, I have a motivational poster on my fridge and on it I have Janet Jackson because she has muscles. I would have Beyonce on it too but I couldn't find a good picture.

There is a pic of Valerie Bertinelli on the cover of a tabloid this week: "Valerie's Diet disaster" .. I agree that it is really hard for the celebs.

That one who lost all the weight on WW andhas kept it off

I don't have pics but I do listen to Shakira and Beyonce on my iPod at the gym. I think those two women have magnificent bods... plus their music is great for keeping up a fast pace.

Shakira and Beyonce have natural bodies, ones not accomplished though working out or dieting. I like to look at someone whose body shows the work they put into it. Someone with muscles. That actually motivates me.
But I want Jessica Beil's body. She really works to make it look like that. That's why she motivates me.
Thursday, August 2, 2007, 12:31 PM
I think Jessica Biel has a great body, but if I picked a celebrity I would want to look at someone with a more realistic goal for me. (With Jessica Biel or Alba I would be dreaming!) I have always thought Reese Witherspoon had a cute figure. But Salma Hayek has a GREAT curvy figure.

12:31 Hello! Do you really feel that Beyonce & Shakira look as they do just naturally? I totally know what you mean, because neither are rock hard, but I would be willing to bet that both of them work pretty hard to stay in such great shape. I have work out & taken great care of my body for years but my body just does not achieve those very chiseled & defined muscles. Compare old pics of Beyonce to the last few years, she has become very compact, takes alot of work for our body type. :)

i want to look like oprah
Thursday, August 2, 2007, 3:50 PM
Yeah I completely agree-- Jessica Biel. I've liked her since 7th Heaven, but her movies don't interest me. I'm just inspired by her body. It's nice to see a healthy, athletic, muscular girl. I like like Evangline Lilly's body, although she's a little bit on the thin side for me.
