Food tasters
I was reading this article in cooking light about how the staff tries all the recipes before they print them, and it got me thinking...how do they do that without blowing up like a blimp? It had pictures of the staff and most of them wereskinny-minny's.
It makes me wonder the same thing about food contests and the judges. How can they sample so many different things without gaining a ton of weight?

They taste, not consume mass quantities. I wish I could learn that.

I think sometimes they taste and then spit it out. I read an article a long time ago about a taster for some icecream company. He would put a spoonfull in his mouth, and then spit it out in a bucket.

I saw the ice cream taster on the food network, he does spit it out.

I ounce had a job doing mystery shopping at Dairy Queen, and I ate some at first but then I would get it to go, eat one bite in the car and spit it out!
The tasters are either doing that or just eating micro-bites, I'm sure.
