Strange Phenomenon?

I quit taking the pill as a form of birth control after almost a decade. I've been off of it for about 3 weeks now, and I've noticed something very odd. I'm married and don't attract any unwanted attention when I'm out without my husband. This weekend, though, I went to my usual hangouts with my best friend and suddenly had a flabbergasting amount of male attention. No amount of ring finger gesticulating seemed to help. My best friend swears it happened to her when she went off the pill and its because I'm "in heat". (Which I think is kind of animalistic and demeaning). Is it possible that after only three weeks without hormonal birth control one can start excreting "I'm fertile" pheremones out the wazoo?

A few other possible contributors to your phenomenon:
- maybe you've been losing weight and your beauty is really coming through?
- in my experience, men are more, ahem, hormonal during certain times of the year. Summer is one of them (December is another, so gird your married loins when the holidays descend!).

coming off the pill and attracting men...

Never heard of that happening, but maybe it's a combination of your good looks and human phermones -which is a scientific fact. Either way, enjoy it!

Well, pheremones are a hormone that attract the opposite sex in animal species. Perhaps the change in hormone levels (since that's what the pill affects) are subconsiously noticable to the opposite sex?

most people see differences in breast size, emotions, etc. why not this as well? sounds feasible to me.

Maybe your confidence level is up, that is considered very attractive.
