Fat Smash vs South Beach

I was wondering which was was easier to follow for the long haul. I know both phase ones are intense but they are so very different also. THanks!

for the long haul they are both easy to follow it's just getting through the first two phases of each that i found difficult. i love fruit so it was hard to give that up during the first phase of south beach. but then again, i was pretty hungry on the first phase of fat smash because of the lack of protein. so once you get past the first phases, you're good to go in the long run!

Just curious if anyone else had thoughts on this?

either one will work. One eliminates fat and protein, the other eliminates carbs. it's all about just eliminating SOMETHING. I've found that eliminating some of both works for me, not just one or the other. Otherwise I feel like i'm starving.

actually fat smash doesnt eliminate either. I have been doing the fat smash for over a month and have lost close to 18 pounds.

we are allowed rice which is a crab at the very beginning. eggwhites, beans tofu .. all protein

plus oats. 2 cups of milk, yogurt, unlimited fruits and veg..

I have used oilve oil sparingly.. this plan is designed to chnage you way of eating forever. its something you can live with and not feel like your dying.

each phase differnt things are reintroduced . like phase 2 lean meats and coffee comes back in.

its all about change and patterns of eating.. at the end of all phases nothing will be forbidden just you will have a better handle on how much to eat and what to eat thats best for you.. everything in moderation is what this plan is working up to.

this is my own oipinion.
