Is this good or bad?

I need a little help evaluating my food choices. Yesterday this is what I ate:
breakfast- 1 cup of coffee , an atkins bar and 1/4 a cup of red grapes
Lunch- a Luna bar and 5 crackers with a little chees

Dinner- a tuna melt on whole wheat bread and a cup of cucumber ( this was at a restaurant so there was alot of tuna on the melt)
I woke up this morning and it seems that I've gained 3 pounds this weekend. is that even possible? no right?

It could be possible that in restricting your calories so much, you're slowing down your metabolism and your body's compesating by putting on weight.

Yeah, if you cut too many calories your body thinks you maybe be starving or going through a dry spell so it starts to store fats for you to live off of if you can't find food. It's basic life support.

Find a plan online that outlines how many calories you need to meet your goals and follow it.

I agree with the other two who responded. Maybe you could buy the WeightWatcher materials and not attend the meetings (if that's a drag for you). They have really good materials and you can eat lots more than you're eating, and you will be much more apt to stay with an eating plan that lets you really eat instead of nibble like a sick chickie! Seriously, you're convincing your metabolism that it has to make the very most of every little calorie you give it! You don't want to do that to your metabolism! Good luck.

It is NOT possible to put on 3 "real" pounds in a weekend! Even if you ate 3 pounds of butter you'd burn some of it (and probably puke some up). More likely it is water weight. Watch your salt? Or maybe it's that time of the month?

How's the fiber content of those meal replacement bars? Because if you're not drinking a bottle of water with it and it's got 4+ grams of fiber, it can cause you to bloat (as well as lead to constipation).
