6lbs sounds good to me! As your working out a lot maybe your putting on muscle which weighs more than fat. Do you take your measurements?

Dear Scared, Do you feel better? Focus on that wonderful feeling. Two weeks is too short a time to expect big changes in weight, this diet stuff is a life style change. You are developing good life habits and you need to focus on that. Quick weight loss almost always reverts when you stop doing what you are doing. Six pounds in two weeks sounds awesome to me, but to be sustainable, please try to aim for 1 - 2 lbs / week. You're doing GREAT!!!!

Just remember, ,we are not all the same and our eating can have more to do with our weight loss than exercising - for me it's about 90% i.e. if I ate right and never exercised, I'd still lose weight. However, I stick with the exercising coz I know it's good for my heart. Best of luck to you on your journey!

6 lbs in 2 weeks is a lot!! As I'm sure you know the most professionals recommend you lose a week is 2 lbs. Since you are just starting 6 lbs is probably right with water loss. Not to burst any bubbles but you shouldn't expect to even keep this pace.
Please ignore the numbers you see on shows like the biggest loser. They are not realistic outside of that bubble.
Not trying to be harsh, just want you to be realistic. Losing weight takes a long time.
