Yeah I agree. I wish I could see more people's success stories. It's great motivation to see how far ppl have come.

People have to write and submit their success stories. Maybe they just aren't doing it. I know a lot of successful pt'ers.

This is 9:18...but yeah I know ppl have to submit it themselves and I know of a lot of successful members too. But I guess ppl don't what to be in the spotlight and have pics of themselves on a public website..I know I prob wouldn't.

no pictures

Another reason may be that people don't have any good 'before' pictures. Some people (like me) don't like having pictures taken of them when they are overweigh. And if they don't plan ahead by taking a picture before their weight loss they don't have a good 'before' picture. And the best part of the success stories are the before and after pictures.

There are half a dozen people in the thread whose "Aha! I'm losing weight moment" included seeing a "fat" picture of themselves.

PLEASE!!!

PT - please! Why are your Success Stories so outdated!? One is from 2006! Jen has been at it for 4 months for about 5 years now. If nothing else please change something about the website to refresh it and bring it into the new decade! At this point ANYTHING NEW would be awesome! Pleeeeeeez!

I for one used PT to release weight.. I am waiting until I get to my goal weight of 135 and than I plan on writing my success story..

maybe some people want to wait until they reach their goals. I do know alot of success stories here on pt, but people have to write their own success stories so it may be various reasons why they are not doing them,

We get great email success stories and info every day - the website feels like the forgotten step child of PT.

I am on a roll with PT.... and feel the success on this site is not just reaching goals.... I have heard so many people that begin the journey and quit-- I have done it so many times myself. Since I have joined PT I have kept on my path, dropped 30 pounds and have been surrounded by some amazing people...
Success isn't reaching that one long term goal, it is skipping the sweet snack at lunch, walking a flight of stairs quickly, parking in the furthest spot ....

Progress stories???

Maybe they should have a bunch of progress stories... Like I need to lose 100lbs but I will take 20 to start!

Progress stories would be great, too. A profile on the dog who lost 30 pounds would be a nice change. Anything that wasn't originally posted in 2006 would be awesome!

Ditto - 5/14 @ 5:10 - would love to hear from admin about any plans to refresh the website or thoughts on why it stays the same for years on end...

Totally agree! the spotlight is out of date... only 3 people left, I believe?

Let's focus less on the "cheat plans" and more on the *amazing* features of the website that go unnoticed and left behind.

hoping to hear from admin

Giving this topic a bump in the hopes that admin will respond.

PEERtrainer is a great concept . . . like a wonderful big ol house.

With time all houses can use a fresh coat of paint. Your users are imploring, "Please paint the house."

or at least let us know .. . why the house can't be painted.

I haven't seen any calls for success stories from the Admin. Even so, in 7 years surely there's been someone out there willing to write something! There's just been no updates or refreshing of content on the website for YEARS.

Members submit success stories ALL THE TIME. And we send them out via email all the time. If you don't submit a before and after picture, we can't put it on the home page. Do you have one? If so, let us know!

Updates without pics on the website would be an improvement. The website just feels neglected.
