I've lost weight and still don't like my body
So I've lost about 30 pounds since joining PT (and am so appreciative of all the support I've received here by the way). I have about 20 more to go to get to my goal weight.
Here's my issue. I'm a fairly confident person, I've always been a bit self concious of my body, but at 50 pounds overweight who can blame me? I was feeling really great about the new changes I've seen in my body. My husband compliments me all the time which improves morale a lot, I look and feel much better in my clothes, but the more weight I lose the less thrilled I'm becoming with the way my body looks. I'm in my early 20's and am losing the weight at a slow healthy pace but my skin is not rebounding like I hoped. My breasts and stomach are starting to sag and I feel like my body looks 20 years older than I am. I'm having a hard time feeling good about the way my body looks when I'm disgusted with what I see in the mirror. I want to cry every time I catch my reflection without clothes on. I'm afraid what my body will look like when I've lost that last 20. Yes, I feel healthier and I look much better in clothes, but I'm not happy with what my body is turning into.
I guess I'm not really sure what I'm asking, it's just really been getting me down lately. I'm so sad that I'm young and I'll never be able to get the body that I could have had if I had tried to be healthy at a younger age. Do I resign myself to getting surgery? My husband doesn't think I need it but will support me if I choose to go that route. It's just expensive and I haven't had kids yet, so it seems a waste to nip and tuck and lift everything and then go and get pregnant.
I guess that's it, it's not really an immediately solvable problem, I just needed to let it out. Thanks for listening.

Give it some more time, your still in transition and it takes time for the body to tighten back up.

You have to take all precaution to prevent skin sag. Have you researched this? I work in a plastic surgeon's office and can tell you that I see a lot of people that took absolutely no precaution when it comes to skin sag. I would reccomend doing a lot of research on ways to prevent it. I would suggest eating a lot of amino acids (flax seed, fish, etc.) , swimming a lot, and using a firming body cream every day (or cocoa butter lotion, or a prescription). I don't know if you are doing all of these things, and if you are, I applaud you. But if you're not, then hurry up and start!

Do you work out whats your regimine like? I suggest you add some weights - they help tone you up and make you look tighter and defined. Go to http://www.bodybuilding.com/fun/index.htm they have alot of info on how to eat right and follow through with your body. Dont worry your not going to look like Arnold, women dont have enough testosterone to look like a guy when they do resistance training. Alot of women fitness models incorporate alooottt of weights to their workouts which is why they look so damn good. Goodluck.

I heard once you get to your goal to wait a year before you decide anything. Give it a little time, though I know it sucks.

I"m right there with you!!!
I've lost 75 lbs after having 2 babies back to back and I have the same problem. My skin is saggy in spots and has stretch marks, which the more I lose the more you can see them. I had the same feelings for awhile that I wish I hadn't even lost the weight, but now that I'm just a few lbs from goal I'm so glad I have! In my clothes you can't tell I have the issues. NO ONE IS PERFECT after all! I heard Kate Hudson has really saggy skin on her tummy after having her baby!
I have been using weights and doing a lot of ab work, which isn't going to solve it like some of the other PTers suggested, but it does help!!! Keep going with the weight loss...even if you don't end up with the body you always wanted you'll be so much better off!!

strength training is the answer
did you ever notice the people on the biggest loser never seemed to have loose skin and they have lost tons of weight and if they do have loose skin it is just a small amount and I really belive its all that strenght training since muscle is naturally going to fill some of that space up and my sister did that slim in 6 dvd system and she looks great and not bulky like a man but an athletic shape I would recommend that for you remember cardio just burns fat no toning and people who do just cardio always are just a thinner version of theam selves but the strengh training people look awesome look at those bowflex comercials. Hope this helps and be proud of the work you have done.

patience and some weight training or resistance training (isometric, i think they call it) will help.
