Favorite Discoveries.

I don't know if this has been done anywhere else, but what are some of yoor favorite diet discoveries? Like foods that allow you to give into cravings and such, without major calorie damage? Share here! =)

For me it's the following snack:

2 fat free/sugar free jello snacks (10 calories each!)
"Light" whipped cream (I don't know the brand..it's about 15 calories for every 2 tablespoons.

Take a tall cup. Spoon one jello into the bottom, put about 4 tablespoons of whipped cream, spoon the second jello on top, top off with about 4 more tablespoons of whipped cream.

The whole thing is huge, and about 80 calories! Definately great for a sweet tooth, and you can substitute whatever falvor jello you want.

=)

How about a large coffee latte with Splenda? All together, only about 50 calories.

Sugar-free white chocolate pudding. I can make it with skim milk and have a 1/2 cup with 1/2 cup berries and it's sweet, smooth and delicious - very, very guilt-free.

9:09 Is that all you have to say about every post? You must be the same person who keeps posting "INTERESTING". WHY BOTHER?

And the large coffee latte w/ splenda is not 50 calories, a latte is made with milk, even a 16oz (which is usually a large) has about 13 oz of milk, even if its ff it still has about 60 cal.

Ok, so I was 10 calories short. And anyway, who drinks a large anything when trying to learn to CONTROL themselves. Good luck with your large everything. :)

Weight Watchers english muffin with 1 T. peanut butter. It is three points if you count them and it keeps you satisfied until lunch.

Ezekiel bread. A piece, toasted, with approx. 1 T. peanut butter, is a treat for this peanut butter-loving girl. With a glass of fat free, ice cold milk, I am good for two or three hours. It is good for me before a workout since my stomach rebels at having much food in my stomach when I work that hard. About an hour before I meet my trainer I have this and a banana or some berries. Great fuel.

13oz of skim milk is way more than 60 cals! It's closer to 140 cals! Skim milk is about 11 cals/oz. 1 cup (8oz) is 91 cals.

And the recipe for sugar-free white chocolate pudding would be:
1 box JELLO Sugar-Free White Chocolate pudding
skim milk (amount indicated on box.)
pour into cups, put in fridge to solidify. Eat with berries.

I'm not the poster of the sugar-free white chocolate pudding, but that's the recipe.

I second the skinny cow!

The fat free fudge bars are fantastic and only 100 calories each (they're huge!)
I also like:
100 calorie bags of microwave popcorn
in season fruit- watermelon is especially good right now
dried peaches and raisins

and two super sweet, no fat options-
marshmallow fluff
light maple syrup

favorite sweets

Hi all, loved all the posts. I do some of them, like the jello and the Skinny Cow. And melon--love casaba melon chilled and watermelon. Casaba is better cuz it has a lower sugar content than watermelon, I think. Love chilled cantaloupe with 1 scoop of vanilla tofu ice cream.

My favorite sweet is 1 cup of frozen blueberries blended into a slushy with 1/2 cup of pomegranate/blueberry juice. Soooo good. Just gotta look out for the blueberry skins on your teeth, afterwards. Thanks all, kashuwa44
