Working out with kids can be a challenge. I take it your gym doesn't have day care? Are there any local gyms that do? If it's the difference b/t you going and not going - it's worth the investment. Can you drop off at daycare earlier so you can workout before you go to work? Can you invest in a more durable stroller (even a used one)?

The other issues related to motivation and eating, well...people have lots of different input and something may resonate with you and help you to decide that 'this is it', but ultimately it's a decision you make. You decide that those stray bites of food DO count and they're really not worth it, you decide that long term results trumps short term pleasure, etc.

Good luck. Being a mom, especially a single mom, is one of the hardest jobs out there! Taking care of yourself is one of the best gifts you can give your kids. You deserve it!
