snacking..
everyday now i've been eating my south beach diet cereal every morning, a sandwhich with whole wheat bread and no mayonnaise or anything and a good dinner. i snack on fruits in between meals. i've lost about 3 pounds and i'm not losing any more. it's really hard for me not to have a snack once in a while throughout the day because I always feel hungry! lol i thought sancking on fruit would help. any ideas?

fruits are great but maybe the sugars/carbs are keeping you from dropping more weight. Try edamame (soy beans). Lots of protein and fiber (they are a "super food"), great to fill you up and keep you going. Just 100 cals for 1.5 cups of edamame (in the shells)! Get them frozen at Trader Joe's or costco.
For crunch, there's always airpopped corn (with tobasco or similar to keep it healthy)

Although I enjoy fruit with a meal or as dessert I find it to be incredibly unsatisfying as a snack (personally) with the exception of apples. It usually just leaves me wanting more of a snack. For me, a cup of veggie soup is one of the best things around - the fiber is filling and the warmth is satisfying. Plus it takes me a little longer to eat it so I have a chance to feel full. I also like south beach bars and a few tortilla chips with lots of salsa. Good luck to you in finding a selection of snacks that are more helpful to your efforts.

my weight watcher's leader said the body gets used to processing the same meals daily. Mix meals up a bit. It really helped me jolt out of plateaus.

Add some good quality protein and maybe a little carbs. Protein gives you that full feeling. A good example would be tuna with some whole wheat crackers.. whatever floats your boat really.

I second 6:36am with the protein recommendation. I'm eating to lose 1-1.5 pounds per week, which translates to about 1300 calories a day (before I would eat twice that on a typical day.) I make sure to eat protein at every meal and snack and I'm rarely hungry. In the first few days I got some serious munchies, but I wasn't hungry.
Some of my favorites:
Dannon LIte and Fit yogurt (60 calorie cups) with about a cup of fruit mixed in
1/4 cup of 2% cottage cheese and wheat crackers
1 hard boiled egg
You say you're not losing any more...how long have you been at it? Smart snacking makes this process easier, so choose well and you'll get through the day without feeling hungry.
