apple cider vinegar?

Hi All...

Anyone heard of cider vinegar's benefits for weight loss and general health improvements? For some reason, it's come up a bit lately, so I'm curious if anyone has experience with it.

I know that a small amount of apple cider vinegar in water at mealtime will act like enzymes to help you digest your food at the meal.

well, I tried a little bit of vinegar in water today before breakfast. ICK! I felt like i was going to throw up. I did 1 tsp in a glass of water. Maybe I'll start adding a bit of honey or something. I probably won't try too hard though!!

I think its supposed to act as an appetite suppressant... it never worked for me, but i think my over-eating is more emotional than anything else, so I'm not sure. I personally havent met anyone who got results from it, and it tastes horrible! there are apple cider vinegar pills though, and maybe that would be worth a try.

I've never heard of it's diet uses, but it makes a tasty salad dressing paired with olive oil

Hi,
I drink unfiltered apple cider vinegar (ACV) in my water and on my salads daily. It is very important that it is unfiltered with the "mother" intact. You can purchase it at any health food store. The filtered ACV that you get at the grocery store is highly processed and has no health benefits.
ACV is good for help in weight management but you still have to follow a sensible eating and exercise plan.
ACV has numerous health benefits. Check out the link to Braggs Apple Cider Vinegar. It's a rather interesting site. Odd but charming and loaded with health tips. I have the book and really like it.

well, as the original poster (and the one two down who tried it)... I just don't think i'm going to try it again. i think i may have had some, let's say, unpleasant experiences the last day and a half from trying it. Ick.

And I am following a good exercise and diet plan, i am also just curious about the additional health benefits.

Apple sauce spiked with Bragg's apple cider vinegar

I have been taking a small bowl of applesauce spiked with 2 table spoons of Apple Cider Vinegar twice a day. The apple cider vinegar makes the applesauce taste like apple pie and it is really pretty tasty. The brand I use is Bragg's, on the web at www.Bragg.com.

This is one of several things I have been doing to fight fat and it seems to be working since I have lost 30 pounds (305 to 275) since mid February.

2 tablespoons daily will help reduce control acid reflux symptoms. i've been using ACV instead of protonix. if you are random drug screened, protonix will show as a false positive for thc. ACV is working great.

ive tried it here and there...I dont know if its done anything for me becasue i havent stuck to it daily..but I either put honey or stevia...no way can you swallow it without a sweetner...
I have read a lot of good things about its benefits...try a google on it..just be weary of sites that are selling stuff ..I would rather read about the benefits of anything from a neutral site thats not trying to sell something..
try looking at earthclinic.com ...people give reviews there..

My grandmother always uses this for salad dressing and she's very thin!! Never thought it might aid with health and weight loss but it does taste really good.
