What about weight watchers meals?
Is it a healthy thing to practically live off of them?
Mon. Nov 21, 12:09pm
Frozen WW meals are pretty well balanced, they do tend to be low cal and low fat, not many offer a carb with it though, unless you get pizza, you could always add a little serving of brown rice or couscous for a complete meal. I tend to eat these for a quick lunch or a bigger snack if i'm lacking points for the day. Lean Cuisine's are also WW friendly and they provide the points on the side of the cartons, they also have a more complete meal with rice or taters. I like either but I wouldn't live off them since they are processes and frozen. Nothing takes the place of fresh foods.

This reminds me of when I lost 40 lbs in 6 months a few years back...I lived off Blimpie's subs for lunch and frozen WW or LC for dinner 5 out of 7 days a week. I also took a mult-vitamin and ate fruit for breakfast. I felt pretty healthy the whole time. Hmm, I'm not losing so well these days, so maybe I should go back to that plan...

Sodium..
That's one of the drawbacks to those packaged meals. Most of them have around 30% of your daily sodium in each one.

Wow! I should pay more attention to nutition facts because sodium is one thing I get enough of without taking in a daily value with one meal! Thank you everyone! This will help me a lot
