Thanksgiving!

Now that it is so close I am gettin nervous! Im not sure if i will be able to give into the temptations! The good news is I dont really crave sweets but Im worrying about overindulging any good suggestions?

The best thing we used to do in my weight watchers (and it always worked for me) was to draw our Thanksgiving meal on a paper plate. Partition the plate and put on the turkey, stuffing, gravy, cranberry sauce, sweet potatoes, etc. with portion sizes and calorie counts. Than draw out your dessert portions on another plate with sizes and calorie counts. You can of course go back and adjust the sizes of the portions. When the day comes, it's pretty easy to stick to what you've already decided on. It's like you have a little secret no one knows about. And you go home feeling pretty good about yourself.

My trick with dessert is to eat a bite (or 2) of every dessert, even if there are 5 of them. That way you feel like you got to taste everything.
