Thinking of changing my resistance workout schedule

I'm currently doing 45 minutes whole body resistance 3 days a week, but I've skipped days too often. It seems like it might be easier if I did some every day - then it would be harder to forget/avoid - I don't have trouble with my daily cardio.

So I'm thinking 25 minutes every day, with 2 days a week to each of upper and lower body and core. How does this sound? Go heavier on each area since only doing twice a week? Combine core w lower body and do each area 3x week? Something else?

OP here again. My goals for the resistance training are a combination of strength building and fat burning.

I think that sounds like a good solid plan!

Right now you're working each part (if you do each in equal amounts through your 45 minutes) for 45 minutes each week. Your new plan will give you 50 minutes on each part each week. Looks balanced to me!

Just be sure to take one day off from everything, and not to do the same body part two days in a row.
