LA Weightloss secrets!
If anyone wants to start a group about LA weight loss and you dont have the money or aren't sure if you want to join.. I'd be more than happy to tell the group the plan and what to do :) I'm on the plan and know all the ins and outs!
Tue. May 15, 11:32am
what are the secrets?
Tuesday, May 15, 2007, 11:43 AM
I would be interested in learning about the LA Weightloss plan. Do you have a group or a team started about it yet?
Tuesday, May 15, 2007, 1:21 PM
Um, I don't know what LA weight loss is. I take it it is a diet program???
Tuesday, May 15, 2007, 2:27 PM
Yes, it is a diet program :) I will start a group if there is enough interest!!! It really works :)
Tuesday, May 15, 2007, 9:49 PM
I am interested! I see the ads on TV all the time and have been wondering about how it works and if it's any different then other plans out there!
Tuesday, May 15, 2007, 9:54 PM
LA Weight Loss
I'd like to know more about it. They advertise $5/week for 8 weeks if you pay upfront, but I've also read about their hidden fees. What's the skinny? I'd rather hear it from someone on the plan versus a salesperson just trying to get me in the door. And are you required to buy their diet bars?
Tuesday, May 15, 2007, 9:54 PM
I'm interested I did LA weight loss about 3 years ago and it worked for me. I just never got to the part were you maintain your weight, however I did loose the weight I wanted to loose.
Wednesday, May 16, 2007, 9:14 AM
Team LA will be made soon :) I'll write all about it there!!!
Wednesday, May 16, 2007, 11:54 AM
Team LA?
sounds like a good idea, where do i sign up?

I was just checking out there web site. How much does it really cost. and is it really worth it..
Wednesday, May 16, 2007, 1:35 PM
If you start a team I want to join....please let me know
Thursday, May 17, 2007, 11:27 PM
I heard that plan was great! Most of these plans just cost soo much
Thursday, May 17, 2007, 11:44 PM
I am currently signed up w/LA also. I would like to join your group when you get it together.
Saturday, May 19, 2007, 5:28 AM
I have heard about hidden costs in the LA lites... the energy/snack bars. When you sign up they require you to buy these. Cha'ching!

LA Weight Loss
I am very interested in joining your group and finding out about the LA Weight Loss Plan. How well is it working for you?
Saturday, May 19, 2007, 6:37 PM
They're expensive, but it works. They work on changing the food that you eat, and they make sure you get the right amount of food that you're supposed to eat. When I first started, I was an undereater and extremely overweight. There are hidden cost. So it would probably be ideal to team up with someone already on the plan. The hidden cost lie in their bars that they want you to buy and the shakes. That's where the price racks up. But you don't have to have the bars, but they are delicious so...and they use them to replace stuff like candy. Like any diet, it isn't easy, because they still have you stay away from things (e.g., chips). You can go out to eat on the plan, but it's pointless because you can't have all the delicious stuff that is bad for you :(. But it works. If a groups starts, I wouldn't mind joining. It is always nice to have someone else who is doing the same thing you are right along beside you.

Not sure what the status of this group is, but here is a small group of people that talk about la weight loss.

Where is your group and how do I get there?
Sunday, August 19, 2007, 10:39 AM
MEMBER OF LA WEIGHT LOSS!
I am a new member of LA and have been going about 3 and a half weeks. I am down 8 pounds so far!
It is a lifestyle change, not just a diet. YES its expensive, but it was the push that I needed to get going.
I started a LA group a while back and no one joined :( Let me know if a TEAM is made.

LA Weight loss
I would love to join your group- Isn't the diet principally a carb reduction plan with high protein? Lets get his group started.
Monday, September 3, 2007, 10:57 AM
I am on LA and am ending month 3. As of yesterday I am down 14 pounds! YAY! I never thought it was possible. I am wearing pants that I couldn't fit in before.
If I can do it ANYONE can!

TWO MONTHS NOT THREE!
1:55 poster here
For me this isn't a diet. Its a lifestyle change. I cut out all sugar and salt which was really difficult, but well worth it. You have to measure portions and you HAVE to eat the reqired amount of what you need to daily. Such as your protein, starch, veggies, fruits AND fats. It was hard at first, but I have gotten used to it and its second nature.
AND I take back what I said. I am ending month TWO and have lost 14 pounds. Sounds much better! I need to exercise too. That would make it so much faster!
Tuesday, September 18, 2007, 4:02 PM
don't waist your money!
four of us from work did LA weightloss for 5 months and NONE of us lost more than 15 pounds in the first two months. You HAVE to eat their protein bars 2x a day (gross), plus they recommend you eat their foods and take their supplements, but won't guarentee they work!
Tuesday, September 18, 2007, 4:20 PM
I have to disagree. I posted the 1:55 and 4:02
YES you have to eat their bars (which I think are good and they kill my sweet tooth) but other than that you eat what you that follows the plan.
Its not for everyone, but it worked for me and my mother and law. She has lost 26 pounds and looks great!
If you don't measure your foods properly and eat everything you should it doesn't work. You have to follow it RELIGIOUSLY!
Tuesday, September 18, 2007, 4:48 PM
i didn't believe it before, but I gave my two cents about a removed thread and just as i put in my thoughts, bam! it's gone! is there a code of ethic we're to follow? If we can talk about cross dressing and bloating and blogging, we should be able to talk about removal of threads.....or am i missing something?
Mon. Sep 17, 5:27pm
It's probably just a computer glitch-it happens a lot. I don't think there is some conspiracy from the PT admins.
Monday, September 17, 2007, 9:31 PM
OMG by why the glitch only when talking about censorship or removal of threads but not during other topics?? it is a conspiracy!
Tuesday, September 18, 2007, 8:17 AM
I'm a beliver! PT is removing cersorship threads....I know, I posted a new one and it lasted a matter of minutes before it was gone. We should revolt! I'm discusted by many of the topics on here and believe we ought to have a voice.
Tuesday, September 18, 2007, 9:11 AM
OP HERE
Thanks for confirming what I thought was going on. Now I know I'm not completely crazy, but others are seeing this as well.
Have a great day everyone!
Tuesday, September 18, 2007, 9:20 AM
this thread hasn't been removed yet.....
Tuesday, September 18, 2007, 10:33 AM
OP Again
I noticed that three threads were removed with the subject: censorship, which is why I chose to name this one REMOVED. maybe they haven't caught on yet!
Tuesday, September 18, 2007, 10:46 AM
you guys are funny. I could care less but I'm enjoying watching the drama.
Tuesday, September 18, 2007, 10:50 AM
I just typed "censorship" into the search field and I came up with four threads labeled by that topic. What happens when you search for them?
Tuesday, September 18, 2007, 11:36 AM
I have noticed this as well.
I did a thread a while back questioning how so much of the things on here were allowed. Such as people being downright hateful to one another. Amazingly that thread disappeared. So strange.....
Tuesday, September 18, 2007, 1:07 PM
I've never had a comment removed but maybe because I'm not rude or mean to other people. Maybe that's the policy?
Tuesday, September 18, 2007, 3:24 PM
rude or mean- that makes sense as a policy. Who wants to be afraid of getting flamed for asking an innocent question. not me.
Tuesday, September 18, 2007, 3:31 PM
OP Again
I have to disagree with you 3:24. I am NOT rude to others on this site (sometimes I get a little rude with my neighbor, but that's just because he's an idiot) and my thread was removed. Rudeness is not the cause of removing threads.
Tuesday, September 18, 2007, 3:48 PM
agreed! and it's not because you're rude, it's because they're censoring it. I understand they have sponsors that pay for this site so it is a free service to us and they want to keep their sponsors happy--I get that and understand I am benefiting from it. But then give a code of ethics and explain the idea of the cross dressing thread to be ok.
Tuesday, September 18, 2007, 4:19 PM

yeah, i think it's a bit odd that the threads on censorship keep getting censored!! i started 2 threads last week, the second one because the first one was removed...and now it's gone, too.
Tuesday, September 18, 2007, 9:14 AM
in fact, i just had to REJOIN because my entire profile was somehow, coincidentally "lost" to some computer glitch directly following my questioning of the censorship "rules"...at least i've got some great tools with which to track my continued progress!

Tuesday, September 18, 2007, 9:20 AM
is there something inherently offensive about the topic of censorship? what am i missing here? topics like "your pubic-hair-style" and "how often do you have sex" are fine but asking about censorship is not?
Tuesday, September 18, 2007, 10:31 AM
this thread hasn't been removed yet.....
Tuesday, September 18, 2007, 10:33 AM
let's see what happens when the sun goes down, mwahahaha...the thread titled "censorship" was also active until it was removed. some time last night it was taken away...
Tuesday, September 18, 2007, 10:39 AM
OP Again

a key word that keeps coming up is "yet"
Tuesday, September 18, 2007, 10:48 AM
you guys are funny. I could care less but I'm enjoying watching the drama.
Tuesday, September 18, 2007, 10:50 AM
you may feel differently if your comments or threads are removed. my entire profile is gone. gone. there yesterday, gone today. no note. no "heads up" email, no explanation. gone.
Tuesday, September 18, 2007, 10:58 AM
I just typed "censorship" into the search field and I came up with four threads labeled by that topic. What happens when you search for them?
Tuesday, September 18, 2007, 11:36 AM
i did the same thing upon noticing that the 2 i started last week were gone. unfortunately the 4 threads that come up when using the search window are from a while ago. the recent threads on censorship were removed. definitely. they are not reflected anywhere in the previous topics. i sent an entire thread to my email address, as a page. i know it was here and i know it's been removed, too. i do not know, however, why.
when i just now tried to post this comment, my newest profile-the one i had to create this morning because my original one from a year ago was "lost"-is also "gone missing". yeah, i had to join again.
Tuesday, September 18, 2007, 11:54 AM
NOTICE HOW MANY COMMENTS WERE HERE BEFORE AND ARE NOW GONE? YEAH, THEY'RE MY COMMENTS. NOT RUDE OR OFFENSIVE OR OBSCENE. JUST REMOVED.
Tuesday, September 18, 2007, 4:20 PM
ALL OF MY COMMENTS HAVE BEEN DELETED. CENSORED. REMOVED. ALL.
Tuesday, September 18, 2007, 4:21 PM
HERE'S ANOTHER COMMENT THAT WAS CENSORED...DO YOU FIND IT OFFENSIVE OR RUDE?
all of my previous comments have been
