morning workout challange

So, I recently started working out in the morning before I go to work because it's really the only time I can do it. I am not a morning person and this entails me waking up an hour earlier....BUT

I challange people on here to try working out in the morning for a couple of days - it gives me sooooo much energy, wakes me up in the morning, and by the time I get to work I've completely forgotten about working out and I don't have to think about it for the rest of the day!

I know this won't work for everyone and others have their wonderful reasons for working out at night, etc...but try it...you might like it :) It made me happier and I just thought I'd share!

good for you!

I agree - it is awesome to work out in the morning. You get such a great sense of accomplishment before you even start your day and it gives you much more energy and incentive to eat better. It also helps me to drink more water throughout the day. The only downside is, I have to go to bed at 9 or 9:30 since I wake up at 4:30 or 5. But if I stayed up any later, I'd probably just be watching bad TV anyway!

Anyway, thanks for the challenge, and keep it up!

morning is definitely the best time to exercise for me!!! i really gain the added benefits of more energy, less appetite, more alertness, all around feeling better!! i am also awake now when i leave the house and that feeling lasts until i hit the sack for a most restful slumber!

I thought maybe one of my team mates may have posted this challenge, but I don't see any reference to the Coast to Coast team. A few of us have thrown down the gauntlet, and on this second day of the challenge, are doing pretty well.

If you want to have your efforts get counted in an additional way besides all the good things mentioned by the previous counters, you can tally your miles treaded, run, or rowed, or minutes worked out (15 min = 1 mile), and help us meet our goal to virtually get to Seattle. We're around Chicago now, and need all the active team mates we can get!
