looking for an active group! my searches come out with only 1 result??!

I'm looking for a group thats new to exercising or just started up again like me, but everytime I use the search engine on PT I get 1 group... no matter WHAT I type. I tried typing " exercise" , 1 group- active connecticut women.
Tried typing "gym", 1 group- active connecticut women. Then I tried typing my zip just to see what was up: ACTIVE CONNECTICUT WOMEN (I live in philadelphia!). What gives?

The search function never works properly for me, either.
If you want an active group, go to the groups page and scroll down. There are listed in order of most recent activity. Pick one near the top.
Or, as someone else suggested, start your own, with your specific goals in mind, and then advertise it here for others to join you.

There are a lot of active groups out there, the problem is, if they already have 4 members, they won't show up on the search. My groups are active, but they all have 4 members in them (although only 2-3 are actually active).
