okay, so this question may not be exactly, directly related to the topic, but i did not want to begin a new thread. have you ever heard of the term DILF ? i am surprised that i have not heard this term, and am curious about others' experience.

to the OP: you've come to the right place to help you meet your goals!

What is a MILF? I feel out of it for not knowing this acronym.

it's a term used in the movie American Pie by one of the guys talking about how hot the other guys mom was.

Yup, that's my goal. I want all my son's friends to think of me as a mom I'd like to f**K. please just be happy with yourself.

I though we were being supportive, not snide!
Soccermom, if you don't have time for a gym, I highly recommend exercise videos/DvD's. I took off 30 lbs with TurboJam, which I ordered one sleepless night while eating chips and bemoaning my bloated state. It was so much fun and so goofy, and the music was so great, it was like I wasn't even exercising. And best of all, you can do any of your programs or routines when nobody's home.

just for the record, the term may have been used in american pie, but it was part of the slang vernacular long before the movie. as for the OP's desire to become a milf, i don't think it's the sexual desire of teenagers she is after, but the body of someone she thinks fits that image, without all of the other connotations. it's good to set a goal and to have a new you in mind when you begin a weight-loss or self-improvement journey. my neighbor has a teenage son and his friends are coming over all the time. i recently was carrying a heavy bag up to my porch and one of the son's friends greeted me and asked if i was sam's "new woman". he meant girlfriend!! i am overweight and 37 years old! i was taken by the character he showed by thinking that someone with my shape would be "date-able", let alone his miscalculation of my age. it really showed my that the idea i have about teenage boys being attracted only to women who look like models is a warped idea and i have not been giving enough credit to the potential character some boys have. maybe the OP is already a milf in some boys' eyes!!

As a mom of 2 who has lost 40 lbs and has gone from a size 16 (barely fitting) to a size 5 can I give you one piece of advise... don't set a weight goal.

Set a clothing size goal, set a measurement goal... set something of that sort for what you want but not size. I should be happy with the size I am but I set this darn goal weight number based on an arbitrary reason and now I'm 5 lbs from hitting and stuck and feeling like a failure because I can't hit when I should just be happy at the size I'm at... so from someone who started where you are my advise give yourself a goal of wearing a size 6 or something like that... but not an actual weight goal.
