Getting used to not being stuffed is something your mind has to do, not your stomach. I've been at this for a year and a half, and my mind still fails me from time to time :(

Totally agree with the above poster. I've been very carefully minitoring portion size for months now and some days it just comes down to will power. That being said (and this is only personal experience here) I drastically cut down on my intake overnight back in Novermber, and the first two weeks were a real challenge. After that I haven't had that weak sensation. On the contrary; energy's through the roof. All the best.

it just takes some adjusting to. your body is used to being fed larger ammounts but it will get into the habbit of knowing that you are full. try using a smaller plate to eat on and it wll be about the same amount of food your body will get used to. thats what I did

It took me about 2 weeks. Don't worry, it will get easier! I've been doing this almost 6 months, now, and it's second nature.

It takes me a few days for my stomach to shrink; a few hours for it to expand again!
