Loss of appetite

Hi guys.

I'm new not only to peertrainer but to the whole philosophy of living a healthy lifestyle and hopefully losing some weight along the way! So far the community has been great!

But I've got a problem. I've always had a healthy appetite (actually, I've usually had a rather unhealthy one!) but for the past couple of days I just have not felt like eating. This has never happened to me before. I have not been working out more than usual (I haven't been working out at all) and I feel fine, emotionally and hormonally.

Anybody else ever had a similar, sudden loss of appetite? Thanks in advance for any comments!

I never have a loss in appetite unfortunately but if you are concerned I would suggest working out. When your body is burning calories it tells you that it needs more

yes, when I'm getting sick or I have a lot going on that takes my mind to other places. Are you stressed out?

Once I've been dieting for awhile, I start to not have as much appetite as I did before; I just get used to eating less. It's actually usually then when I break through plateaus. I'd say, go with it. Make sure that when you eat, you're getting proteins, fats, veggies, fruits, etc. You need the nutrients. Also, maybe look into a multivitamin. Your appetite will return eventually.

My appetite always dies down when I stop eating processed, fatty, etc. foods. The better I eat, the less I'm preoccupied with eating. It's really a win win!

I'm actually going through that feeling myself. Just these last few days I just haven't been hungry. I feel fine emotionally I'm not stressed and there is nothing I can say that would explain my sudden loss of appetite

I've noticed that my appetite often diminishes when the seasons are going through a change. For example lately the amount of increased daylight has gotten really noticable and I find myself more energetic and less hungry. I live in the north though - very close to Canada, so the lack of daylight can really get to one up here. For me it makes me want to hole up and do nothing but eat and sleep all winter, then when summer comes I'm not hungry and could go all day and night!

I'va also had appetitie dimish with sickness, emotional stress and medication.

It's exactly what I've gone through before! I've always been rather hungry, but during the last week or so I've lost my appetite completely. I'm not hungry, yet I generally eat coreball far more than a sandwich every day!
