WW Points, which guide do I trust?

For anyone out there who does weight watchers...I have the complete food book as well as the sliding scale for couting points. But when the points in the book differ from the sliding scale, which do I choose? For example, the WW book says Morning Star Garden Veggie burgers are 1 point. However, when I plug in the calories, fiber and fat, the slider says it's 3 points. My inclination is to want to take the lower points :-) but I want to make sure I'm counting correctly as I tend to use the slider for most packaged items. Thanks!

Take the slider - the book is going off general info. If morning star has changed their nutrition info, or if it's for a different sized package you'll get a different point value. The book is general the slider is more specific, I always go with the slider over the book when it comes to specific brands... but that's just me.

We had this question in our meeting last week - our leader said to use the slider, for the reasons mentioned above. The book may have "cookie" listed as two points, but as you know, there are "cookies" and then there are "COOKIES". Generally, the 2" diameter cookie will have fewer points than one that is 6" and smothered in chocolate icing. So, if you have the nutritionals available, use your slider.
