A cosi salad and bread make up your entire weight watchers points for the day

I had a cobb salad with dressing and 1/2 a slice of bread and went to look it up in the wiki - my lunch was 20 points, what I'm "allowed" for an entire day if I want to lose weight. I didn't have a coke, or dessert. I can't believe it. It really didn't seem like that much food.

You would die if you really saw how much dressing is as far as cal, fat and points. Most places will give you 2oz of dressing (1/4 cup) which is probably way more then you'd use at home and also restaurant dressing is loaded with fats. Cobb salad wasn't a bad choice but you need to remember that they just throw on ham, egg, bacon and whatever else is usually on a cobb salad which adds a ton of points. Next time get a mostly veggie salad with chicken (cause they will weigh the chicken and its usually 3 oz) with a low fat dressing on the side. Better yet ask for olive oil and red or balsamic vinegar on side with a lemon and just use about a tsp of oil and squeeze on the lemon. I know its weird but I've bought my own dressing with me from home if I know I'm getting a salad already measured out. The dressing alone was probably at least half of those points.

20 points could get you a 10oz filet mignon, a baked potato with sour cream, and steamed asparagus for the same # of points. Doesn't that just kill you to get nothing but a "salad" for your points? Ugh...live and learn. Oh, by the way, don't starve yourself tonight because you'll wake up ravenous and risk messing up tomorrow.
