Off track needing some answers!

I have quite a few questions and concerns. What is the serving size for orange chicken? Has anyone ever felt sick after the first bite of food they take, no matter what ii is? I think it could be b/c everytime I eat I feel guilty and I don't know why. I figured that I take in an average of 500-900 calories a day. Do you think I'm getting way to into this diet thing? Fyi: I never excercise, I eat when I am hungry and I feel i still take in too many calories on a daily basis.

I may be reading between the lines, but my gut reaction is that you may be feeling guilty because you're not working out. Can you figure out a way to work out so you'll feel better about eating normal meals - after all, the body needs the proper fuel to function correctly.

Eating less than 1000 calories a day is probably signaling your metabolism to slow down.

Hope this helps.

500 - 900 calories a day? Your metabolism has probably shut down. And not exercising while eating so little means that your body is burning muscle instead of fat because its gone into starvation mode. You might be feeling sick depending on what kinds of foods you are eating. But to answer your first ? orange chicken, if its fried, in a restaurant normally serves 3 and Mr. Bad food guy says 1 serving is around 700 cals and you don't want to know the fat. You might also be feeling sick because your body is needing good whole foods, fruits, veggies, lean meat, fish. You really should start eating better. Especially since your not feeling good.

If you're malnourished or dehydrated, your body stops being able to handle real foods, and "rejects" them. That could possibly be why you're not feeling well - in which case, you need to eat through it anyway, to get your body back to healthy!!

Eat at least 1000 calories a day, and, if you never exercise, start parking a little further away and taking the stairs more often. Just moving around will burn calories, it doesn't have to be hours on the treadmill!

Thank you everyone! I'm just so lost I don't know what to do! I think for the most part I do eat on the healthy side, still lacking some veggies and fruit. I've always thought that if I wasn't hungry all the time then I wasn't starving myself. Thank you all again.
