Recommend your fave NIKE running shoe

I have tried several running shoes, and nike is the best for me; please recommend your current favorite.

Thanks!

I'm in the market for a new pair of running shoes as well-- I am all ears.

I'm an avid runner (have completed two marathons and countless other races) and like Asics and Mizuno. Nike shoes don't work for me at all. New Balance has a reputation of being good for the heavier runner, if anyone fits into that category.

Many athletic stores (Super Runners or Urban Athletics if you live in NY) will allow you to do a test runa round the block. That's the best way to find somethign that works.

Nike Triax structure. Great shoes with plenty of support and cushion.

I like Structure Triax too, (and Mizuno Wave Alchemy), but this is really all about your body geometry and who's to say if yours is like mine?
It's worth your while to go at least once to a running-oriented shop where someone will actually watch you run. It's actually easier for someone else to see if your motion is being altered in a bad way. Even 50 feet of running makes many problems visible although you don't feel them. Once you understand where your stride and foot mechanics fit into the range of options, you can make better use of reviews in magazines and websites.
Structure Triax is a "stability" shoe that usually best suits someone with a flexible and slightly low arch. Pegasus is more "neutral" for a slightly higher or less flexible arch.
