"Peertraining" websites for getting things done?
Does anyone know of one?
I mean a website that is oriented towards helping your achieve your life/work goals (rather than weightloss/fitness goals).
Equally, does anyone use websites that are meant to help you overcome procrastination and get things done, e.g. ones that make you write To Do lists each day.
Would be interested to hear.

Similarly, do all people use websites which might be intended to help you triumph over procrastination and get

flylady!!!! Answer to your prayers!!
She has a book called Sink Reflections that summarizes everything on the website.
She also wrote a book for finding more time for yourself for exercise and eating healthy - I have not read any of that yet.

I don't post, but I have a good time reading The Chronicle of Higher Education's Balancing Work and Life forum. There is a discussion on there called "Paralysis Analysis" which has turned into a support group exactly as you describe, with to-do lists and encouragement. It has over 2700 posts!

I don't like Fly Lady
For someone who encourages organization, she has the most jumbled, cluttered website I've ever seen. I get claustrophobic just going there.

there's a great website where you can create and edit to-do lists called gubb.net. It's really helpful for keeping organized and also you can set it up to send the lists via e-mail or text the lists to your phone. It's free.
Lifehacker.com usually has quite a lot of productivity advice on their site, too.

Why not just use PT?!
It's free to start groups and teams here. Maybe we should have a team of people who want to focus on getting things done. I mean, we can still support each other in our weight loss and/or fitness goals - - why not add another element to the mix?? : ) Perhaps in the team's community section there could be threads on tips for organization or debt reduction or whatever. I don't think there's anything wrong with "using" support we find here to improve all areas of our lives!

A Debt Reduction is a FANTASTIC idea
I know I need help keeping my spending in check, start it up!!

Flylady
Her website and daily emails will definitely help you get on track, starting with babysteps. Just jump in and start.
Her book Body Clutter - is to do with weight loss, not a diet, more addressing underlying problems, that keep us from loosing weight.

Thanks for all the recommendations!
I haven't had a chance to look at them all yet, but I just went to gubb.net and realised that's exactly what I'm after, so thank you!
Also took a look at the Paralysis Analysis forum and that seems a cool way to get things done, by having peers checking on each other (what I thought I was after). But realized it can also be time consuming, and can make you a bit dependent on others' support...and these forums are rarely sustainable. Still, it's given me some ideas about how to make my lists!
BTW, i'd posted this link on another thread, but it's also been helping me with getting things done, so here it is again:

Thanks to all!
